I have little doubt that if DePaul had played 20 games in those two seasons, the record would be 39.

I have little doubt that if DePaul had played 20 games in those two seasons, the record would be 39. To be sure, Hoyas have had more of opportunities in the regular season to look bad. Then again, Depaul’s winless regular conference season team did win its opening BET game (by 10, no less, over Cincinatti), so who knows? But what we both know is that DePaul of that era (or really any part of its Big East member “era”) isn’t the sort of company we should be keeping🤦🏻♂️
