Corruption is a strong accusation against Georgetown without any evidence. I agree. Until the smoking gun shows up we can chalk it up to rank incompetence and the repeated placement of unqualified friends, family and other assorted hangers on in positions of influence. Some would argue that the “repeated placement of unqualified friends, family and other assorted hangers on in positions of influence” is a form of corruption. At the very least in politics it’s be called cronyism. Call it what you want, it’s just not right or acceptable, particularly when the program is in such poor condition.
