More I missed...Oregon State and Washington State reached an agreement with the West Coast Conference for twelve sports (not including football or baseball,. but including men's and women's basketball) for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 seasons in December 2023, and reached a scheduling agreement for football with the Mountain West Conference for the 2024 season in late March 2024. Interesting moves by Wash st and Oregon st, do they still retain the PAC 12 name and rights? Are they trying to orchestrate something behind the scenes with the WCC or MW? (For example they fully join the rebranded MW/Pac12 with Gonzaga, St Marys & maybe idk San Francisco? That would be 16 teams for basketball and 13 for football I believe) There are worse leagues than that tbf.
Or are they more likely just trying to manage costs right now as best as they can until they figure something out?
