A nice easy run for Parker, he stayed with the top 4 until the last lap and then took off.

Parker's last two laps: 7:31.68 [1:11.96] [1:05.37] 8:37.04
He was one and two seconds faster than anyone in the field.

800m
Heat 2 6. Melissa Riggins 2:04.47
Heat 3 1. Katy-Ann McDonald 2:03.42
Melissa had the 12th fastest time, and they send 12 to the nationals, but Melissa had the 4th fastest time other than the 3 qualifiers in each heat. So close.

The final ranking before the NCAA finals meet has the women at 71st, up six from last time. The men are at #72 down a whopping 31 places. The current rankings, I believe, were based on the number of runners and their placements in the regional meet. For the men only Parker Stokes earned the trip to Eugene, so he was the only male in the rankings. For the women only Maggie Donahue and Charlotte Dannatt earned the trip to the nationals and only they were factored into the rankings.
