They changed the schedule again, presumably due to weather like today. Therefore, I won't be able to see most of the women's races tomorrow.

Charlotte was running 4th with a lap to go, but she did not have as strong a kick at the end. Still she came home with a 77s (as opposed to Maggie's 75).

Abel and Jack are in heat 1 of the 1500 this afternoon, along with Eliud Kipsang, this season's collegiate leader. It will be interesting to see if they take it out out with an honest pace or slow it down and sprint at the end. Top five in each of the 2 hearts. advance to Eugene plus the next two finishers by time.

Also in their heat is Anass ESSAYI, who actually won the heat with Kipsang, as he was the only runner to go with Kipsang.

In the beggars can't be choosey category, the live stream is free for the regional, but it is not up close and personal, and it is a bit hard to distinguish the runners. And now there is a bug in lane 8 of the 400m (shining through the camera). Now moved into lane 5. The bug "qualified" by coming in 3rd. From letsrun.com: Not sure if this got fixed yesterday, but the old-school, single camera coverage of the meet on Wednesday, whoever was working the camera, didn't understand that without zooming in, it was literally like watching ants march around the track. I doubt it will get any better today, so if there is anyone reading this that is in the stadium, please walk up to the cameraman and ask him nicely to zoom in on the runners, we across the rest of the country would be forever indebted. And I'm still trying to understand why the west regional coverage is slick production coverage wall the east coverage is 2006 type pirate coverage.

Neither Jack nor Abel will move on to Eugene. Jack was perfectly placed but didn't have it in the last 100m.
8. Jack Salisbury 3:41.07 10. Abel Teffra 3:41.93.
Jack had a faster time than the winner of heat 2. Unfortunately, Jack misses by one spot.
