I would think this move would still leave space for adding Q, or another starting quality center. It looks like Bradley is really a power forward type. I think this leaves at least one more open scholarship, possibly two if you leave one open in case Aminu decides to come back One scholarship remains; of course, transfers can still happen, just that a waiver would be required to play in 2022-23. Ezewiro was ranked #269 in 2020 coming out of Oak Hill, but did not play basketball in 2021. If he is the nominative replacement for Billingsley (#225), it's probably a slight step down at this point. There’s a lot riding on Ryan this year. I think Ryan will do fine, but there's a lot riding on 2022-23, period. Another bad season and the entire basketball office would be on notice. I'll take a offensive downgrade for a defensive upgrade. I think Murray, Bristol, Jordan, Primo, Dante and Akok should be able to supply plenty of scoring. I'll take solid defensive rebounding even if he only gives us 5pts a night.

Geez watching more videos of him, he really tries to throw down everything. He is the definition of Lic's meanery.

I would think that we have a bunch of shooters with our guards and even Akok and Ryan can occasionally step out so he is here to REBOUND which Collin wasn't particularly good in that area. We have a bunch of shooters if you think Dante is a shooter because he shoots the ball a lot. No one coming in is a shooter, as in efficient. Maybe Bristol, but he’s been out of the game for around two years next November… I think we have shooters because Heath shot 43% (46-107) from deep last year career 38.2% all at Power 5 schools even. Bristol as you already said shot 40% (50-125) from deep so even though he has sat out do you really think it is going to drop to somewhere it is considered bad?, Denver is an unknown in college but has a reputation as a sharpshooter and played on a top AAU and high school team so it was against good competition. Murray is an upgrade to Aminu shooting wise and Primo is an upgrade to Dante but not really efficient. So yes we have a bunch of shooters if you compare it to last year and make reasonable assumptions of what each player brings to the table on paper. What we don't have is any rebounding and Collin doesn't provide that.

Id suggest checking out some of his AAU footage to get a true sense of him. He isn't a defensive player. He rebounds decent but my God he tries to tear the rim off on dunks. I'm much more positive about this signing now. He needs refinement on offense but he is a load when he gets it deep. He'll dunk on anyone. I see why Oak Hill went after him. He can finish inside.

I received a lot of interest from Power 5 schools and had visits scheduled. But when I got the call from Coach Ewing and Coach Nickelberry, in my mind, that's where I wanted to be. My mom grew up in Virginia and she loved Coach Ewing and Alonzo [Mourning], which made me a Georgetown fan growing up. Being reunited with my guy Brandon Murray just makes it more exciting. I'm just looking forward to bringing my physical style of play to the BIG EAST next year." - Bradley Ezewiro on his decision to attend Georgetown

Bradley, welcome to Hoyaland and best wishes for a successful career and education here.
Having said that, this transfer puzzles me. Nothing I can find suggests you are a bonafide high major basketball player. I am sure Coach Nickleberry knows a lot more than I do so I hope you will dispel my puzzlement.

I see a high major player but he is very very raw. He can finish and really explode. The LSU board had it right he is a pudger Brandon Bass how at 6'7 he can dunk on you in a second. Now if he can get Brandon skill level. He definitely is an upgrade over Holloway in the fact that he can hold his position inside and block some shots.

Physically and athletically he is an upgrade over both Holloway and Billingsley. I think both Holloway and Billingsley have a more developed offensive games at this point. If you use this young man as a rebounder and physical presence in the post I think he can succeed and hopefully he can develop some offensive game beyond just dunks and put backs.

We don't necessarily needs his offense - he needs to develop the Hoya enforcer attitude. Specialize in defense and rebounds and when the opportunity presents itself tear the rim down.

I like it. This is more in line with GU Basketball I grew up loving. Everyone has a job...dude your job is to rebound and intimidate. Enough of this finesse BS..the Hoyas need an enforcer...tear the rim down young man..

I keep seeing Center, but I think his role is first & foremost a physical 4.
We're still looking for that starting center. When we get one, we'll have good balance at both big spots -- and a couple of 4s who can move up to the 5 when we want a little more athleticism.
What we still don't have is the SF who can jump to the 4 in smaller lineups. Collin was a decent version of that this past year, but Aminu could probably do it if he returned. Bass is the closest thing to that on our current roster, but it looks like he'll be fighting for minutes in general and not really a major option there.

It’s an important role for any team, and makes everyone better (especially in practice).
