I may be wrong about this - I'm just going by what Austin has tweeted recently, but whose NBA jersey do they refuse to hang on the wall? This isn't "oops" stuff or a coincedence. Given that the public isn't even allowed on that floor of the building, it's largely left to anecdotal accounts, but from past discussions the jerseys not on that wall include the following: 1. Nine NBA jerseys of Georgetown players who played prior to 1972. 2. One ABA jersey prior to 1972 (OK, it's a very obscure reference.) 3. Transfers (Jones, Tucker, Turner, Macklin, Benimon, Whittington, McClung) 4. Limited contracts (Wright, Derrickson, Pickett) Adding McClung and Pickett this year, there should be 49, and it's nowhere close to that. www.hoyabasketball.com/history/nba.htmDerrickson (as others have noted with the wrong name), Yurtseven, and Pickett were added in the last couple of months. Which means that the program now considers 2 way contracts as counting towards the NBA jersey wall. By my count, I believe the only players that are still in group 4 are Churchwell and Wright.

Churchwell's jersey was on the wall at one time. Don't know if it is today, but why would they take it down?

Yurt7 has a full time contract.

Great player, great person. Loved the hint at coaching when his playing days are done. He would be a coach that teaches and brings the complete package to the gym everyday. Could impart perspective and wisdom to help young men whether they go on to play pro ball, work elsewhere, raise a family or encounter hardship. Went back and watched some highlights from his Hoya days -- love his game and truly appreciate all he is.

And one saying what policy must have changed given some of the players that were added.
