Did we really “5 PM news dump” promoting one of our own staff?

Congrats coach Crouch!! He’s a worker and a Hoya. I just hope we continue to look to take Orr off the road.

Did we really “5 PM news dump” promoting one of our own staff? On Easter weekend no less.

Always liked Crouch's positive approach to the team and the players but knew little about his basketball background. After some research it appears he has a fairly solid coaching career and has been successful. Unlike some others I am worried less about recruiting and more about coaching and player development. If he can bring that to the program this hire will be a major plus.

Despite what we all want, we need to just accept there is too much money committed to Ewing for him to be fired. It is what it is. A colossal failure on Jack D's part that creates a mess we all have to deal with and move forward. Unless something scandalous happens, the idea Ewing is leaving is pretty much dead. Yes, a colossal failure. I sent a letter to the chairman of the board. Others may consider doing that.

Georgetown is moving in the right direction with the hiring of Nickelberry and the promotion of Crouch. Let’s celebrate the positive things that are happening with the Men’s Basketball program.

Looks too young to have a 5-star son that’s going to join the team. Can I hope he is a defensive specialist? hm

Can I hope he is a defensive specialist? hm He was Director of Player Development (whatever that is) at LSU last season, so not sure if it's a coaching role or something similar to that. Our old pal Yaboy says elsewhere that he recently coached at The Skills Factory - which is notable as the AAU team Marvel Allen (PG-'23) plays for. He's definitely getting a lot of love from a bunch of current & former players on that post.

Hamilton is also young at 37. It's nice to have someone under 50 involved in the program. My preference would be a younger assistant, but I'll take what we can get.
