I dont think that is true. He has demonstrated he can coach players. He needs a better organization and a stronger skill set from his team. He bears and does not shy away from responsibilty, but players play! In his time here he has demonstrated he can coach, but that job is a very comprehensive conundrum and he needs help across the board that he is not getting. So, every losing coach can just blame the players he recruited and their lack of execution of his brilliant game plan? Everything stops with the coach, he’s the CEO. I agree that everything stops with the coach. As you described, he is also the CEO, a helluva big job. He is better at some aspects than others. He has proven he can coach competent players on the court. He has strategy, the question becomes whether or not the players he recruited can execute the strategy..do they have the skills? He recruited many more than what is in his current corps. For many reasons, they are not with him now. He doesnt have the organization nor the players with the necessary skills to win now. That's on him, but that doesnt mean he can't coach. At this level you need a competent organization. That is lacking presently. I am most surprised by the lack of development in our bigs, and his inability to land and keep some competent players. A couple or few outstanding players can lift the entire team's performance. Call it what you will.
