They have all been in for a good stretches. I would like see some more Billingsley Agreed, this would be my one gripe about PT tonight.

Riley is normally very athletic and showing it off, but the last few games he has seemed grounded and not really getting up or getting out on transition runs using his speed.
Some nagging injury? He has shoulder taped and showing the other has been hot cupped. Shoulders are used a lot with jumping and speed, but impacting him this much?

Let’s get some of the younger players experience now Looks like it's been happening the last few minutes. Lots of good coaching going on, even Dante came out to give Ryan some pointers on that TO. Yes, but Rice continued to take a disproportionate share of the shots. This game was won. I would have hoped for calling virtually all plays for freshman.

Love to see Rice sneak into the league one day If he can be half as consistent as he has been tonight and a couple other games, that should be likely. Needs to get much better on defense, but has been improving his passing and court vision.

Riley and Beard are getting good picks set for them, but they have no idea how to use the pick. Both players run wide off them and the defender has no issue with the pick. They have to run off the hip of the guy setting the pick. This is basic ball.

Agreed, this would be my one gripe about PT tonight. Glad he's getting some run. He was really rough in the first half and first few minutes of this last stretch. Now looking comfortable and making good decisions.

May Rice have this kind of hot hand vs Nova, UConn, and Seton Hall

I've only been able to watch a little bit of the game but it looks like Rice is having a great game. He's obviously a tremendous weapon when he's on. Here's hoping he's gotten more comfortable or figured something out and can become more consistent. We post so much about when a player struggles it only seems fair to point out when things are going well. Hat's off to him and I'm hoping he can keep it up!

Phew. That one was easy to enjoy. No stress (except for maybe middle 10 min from first half).

May Rice have this kind of hot hand vs Nova, UConn, and Seton Hall They are going to be a "bit" better on defense, but he was hitting from deep. Even if he isn't this hot it should open up the middle a bit for others. Teams aren't giving Holloway space outside, but that gives nice room inside to drive and kick, mid-range, or to the rim. Getting somebody going outside really helps.

Didn’t watch the game. Glad to see the freshmen played well. Keeping them in the program and improving is the only way forward.

Most points in a game since 11/15/2018 (102 vs MTSM), which was game #2 of the Ewing era.

Riley leaves he feet in front of the bench and you can hear Patrick, "what you doing?" and pulls a player to get him to the bench. As much as I’m excited for Riley and his development, he’s somewhat unplayable at the moment with how often he leaves his man to help (especially one pass away). It’s not just this game, it’s been the entire season. Incredibly frustrating for someone that projects to be a plus defender. So happy for the guys. Needed that. But spot on for Jordan - need to see that intensity and some attention to detail on D.

Hot Kaiden will carry us to a win over UMBC but save some for Saturday. This was an understatement. That was one of the all time Hoyas performances. I would rather him shoot 4/8 each game than trade 0/8 with an 8/8. Wonder if Ewing will start to sit him early in the nights he doesn't have it or if games like this cloud his judgement all year.
