Jeez, Rock, I'm mostly just joking around. After all this country and the world has gone through the last 4 years, I take basketball somewhat seriously, but not THAT seriously. I don’t understand your response. “Mostly joking”? Okay if you’re not then your take on that clip was inaccurate, and if it were actually a joke it would have to fully be a joke for it to actually be funny. Maybe you’re taking my response as intense but that has more to do with you. I was simply, calmly calling a spade a spade. No need to feel affronted by everything, you’re not going to bat .1000 with every post. Nobody said you took anything seriously, I just pointed that your sentiment doesn’t really apply in this situation and earnestly asked whether you really didn’t consider that achievement, which you never answered by the way. I get that communication is hard, but it’s not rocket science. I asked a question because I wanted to know the answer. In case you haven’t noticed by now I’m not into the juvenile social mind games most folks are into. I’m direct unless it’s something too obvious, in which case I might get sarcastic or facetious. Pretty low bar, “.1000”.

Lou Williams is 6’1 and a career 42% shooter, 35% from 3. And still playing at 35. I think Mac can make the league. He can’t change his lack of length but his greatest weakness I think is shot selection. I think he can make improvements on some things with coaching. That said, he is definitely more of a bench player, and I think he will need to take the Yurt route.

Anyone know what happened to Blair? Heard he was on the Bucks but not seeing him on the bench or listed on the roster in their game Vs the Clippers right now. Is he hurt... went to a different team... signed an overseas contract?

Mac is a better athlete at the same stage but Lou was a much better player....and I'm a Mac guy....

So along with Divecenso they probably no longer need 3pt shooting from the shooting guard position. Blair's also not on the roster for the Bucks: www.nba.com/bucks/news/milwaukee-bucks-announce-roster-mgm-resorts-nba-summer-league-2021

I had a whole 2 weeks to be happy about the Bucks' winning the NBA Championship, then they go and trade for Trippin' Ted Cruz Jr.

Any news on the actual Hoyas in Summer League? Mac chose not to be one. I am most optimistic on Pickett's chances to eventually make the league, but think it's going to take him some time in the G League before getting there. Bile & Blair seem most likely to play in Europe. But I would love to hear of any of them doing well in summer.
Awesome to hear about Yurt! I could see him having a 5-8 year career easily.
Also any of the older guys still trying to make the league or playing in summer league? Whittington? Govan? Derrickson?

Derrickson made the T-wolves summer league roster, but he didn't make an appearance in their first game last night

Mac has no chance of playing in the league. He doesn't do a single thing that projects as above average at the NBA level. Yurt might squeak in if he can show the shooting is for real.

Mac and Yurt both optimists!
"A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty."
-- Winston Churchill
(BTW, Yurt already signed two-year contract with Miami - he's already in).
The Miami Heat and 7-footer Omer Yurtseven have agreed to a two-year, $3.5 million deal. ESPN’s Bobby Marks was first with the deal, while the Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson was first with the full contractual details.

Would love to see Pickett knock down some of these threes. 1-2 FG, 2pts, 2rebs in 6mins in the first half.
