Whoever he resonates with the most! He's a dynamic player and big. He fits the bill...that would be great. We would be talent rich!

Official visit right now. Doubt we get him, but don't mind shooting our shot, especially with the connection we have w/ his HS

Pretty sure I saw him at the Sienna game tonight, behind the bench, to the right side. Hope he enjoyed the win.

Looks like an Alpha version of Kendall Gill Can we talk about that on court shot in the album? All of these pics are high quality but giving a recruit a picture like that leaves quite a memory. It was probably a straight jump rather then a in-action dunk but still a cool shot. (Sorry professor, meant to quote the OP).

I hope the entire visit was influential. He was there for a game day, got to see, I hope, the team prepare, see coach Ewing coach in game moments, hear strategy, maybe eat with the team, see shoot-arounds. He should have been able to envision a role for himself on the team... Etc. From accounts on this board, it seem Jahnathan Lamothe from Baltimore was here at the game. I dont know if that is true and whether or not, the two got to meet [that would have been great]. Then, to top it off, he got to see the Miami Heat visit, and practice in the Thompson Center. Hopefully the professors and campus tour was great. The weather was fantastic. I would think that was a perfect weekend. So I hope it influenced him and impressed his parents too.

Jackson continues to be one of the elite prospects in the 2023 class. He finished this game with an event-high 36-points, and he did so from all over the floor. Standing 6-foot-9, Jackson has smooth 3-point range; he has the handle to get to his spots and the pop to finish above the rim. Jackson's recruitment has taken many twists and turns over the past two months. Strong rumors were circulating he would be committing to North Carolina at any moment. Since those rumors started, Jackson has continued to take visits to the likes of Georgetown, South Carolina, Virginia and Duke, while canceling his visit to the Tar Heels for the Michigan game. He says he is looking to set upcoming visits with Virginia and Duke with no commitment timetable set. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/shaw-s-takeaways-battle-at-the-rock

With a four-man class in 2022 that is ranked in the top 10, the Tar Heels are hoping to build on that class for 2023. So far, UNC has just one commitment in 2023 as Simeon Wilcher pledged his verbal back in October. Since then, rumors have swirled that the Tar Heels were close to landing five-star G.G. Jackson. While that may still be the case, and Jackson is the Tar Heels top target, it doesn’t look like he’s going to make a commitment in the near future. Instead, Jackson is planning on taking more visits including to both Duke and Virginia. The 6-foot-8 power forward out of South Carolina is ranked No. 10 nationally, the No. 3 power forward, and No. 1 player in the state per the 247Sports recruiting rankings. As it stands now, the crystal ball prediction is in favor of UNC as they picked up two predictions weeks ago following his visit. The Tar Heels do appear to still be in the running for Jackson and are likely the leaders but with him taking visits to Virginia and Duke, that’s still not the greatest news. keepingitheel.com/2021/12/07/unc-basketball-top-2023-target-set-to-visit-acc-foes/

Jackson was easily the top performer of the night. His 27 point outburst came on 10-17 shooting and was happened in front of Jon Scheyer (plus two assistants) and Frank Martin (plus three assistants). Jackson’s shot-making has elevated to a new level with Columbia (S.C.) Ridge View. He is scoring from the wing, with hard cuts off-ball, and in the mid-post. His footwork and touch are consistent, making tough shots look easy. Currently, at No. 10 in the 2023 class, he will be in line for a bump during the next update. Jackson has officially visited North Carolina and Georgetown and is planning visits to Virginia and Duke. While he has not visited South Carolina officially, Jackson has taken ‘numerous visits to campus over the last two or three months. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/shaw-s-takeaways-the-bash

“I took my first official visit to UNC, and then my second one I went up to Georgetown. I am supposed to be going to Duke and Virginia real soon; I am not sure on the exact date yet.” Georgetown: “My favorite part about the visit was their food; the salmon was great, and they had these cinnamon rolls. But on the basketball side, the mentorship really stood out. Having a guy like Patrick Ewing coach me would be a big thing. One thing he told me that stood out is that he wants me to come in and be his Patrick Ewing. That really stuck out for me.” basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/five-star-gregory-jackson-recaps-recent-visit

That is what the Crystal Ball and I think is going to happen. A top 10 prospect in the 2023 class out of Columbia (S.C.) Ridge View High School, G.G. Jackson has North Carolina as all four of his predictions in the Crystal Ball. Hometown South Carolina is also pushing extremely hard to keep Jackson home. A 6-8 power forward, Jackson is an aggressive athlete who can handle and initiate some offense. It can be a little awkward at times when he is dribbling like a Kevin Durant, but the fact is that he has an effective and productive game. His handle and long strides can get him to the rim, and he has the ability to make tough finishes. He is also going to defend and rebound at a high level. 247sports.com/Article/Meyers-Mailbag-GG-Jackson-North-Carolina-Kamani-Lands-Arizona-State-Vince-Iwuchukwu-Kijani-Wright-USC-ASU-Tommy-Lloyd-178562979/
