You can both root for Nova to lose and for Nova to have a good showing for the BE. Nova did better than most expected and still lost. Win/Win for GTown fans and the BE. I'm rooting for Creighton to win because I don't want Gonzaga to become Duke West. Coach K is close to retiring and Ewing/GTown is in prime position to take over as "the" destination for recruits. It would be nice if Gonzaga went back to the little brother position... Will not take issue with anything you say. However, as a personal matter of deep hatred, I can never, ever, root for Nova to win a single game against any opponent. If they lost 2,000 in a row by 100 points a game it would not be enough misery for them and their fans. Not rational; not reasonable; just how I feel. Yeah I have irrational hate for UCONN and Quette. I just hate Nova but I'm not quite old enough to remember the 85 loss.

Good UCLA-Bama game.
Both were cold as ice at 3, so they were taking it inside. Looked like UCLA was gonna win, but Bama hits a clutch 3 at the buzzer.
Going to OT.

They even said Cronin was known for fouling if up by 3 in the last seconds too. Might come back to bite them in the end. But they are up right now in OT.

UCLA is very methodical in their approach on offense.
I like that kid Riley in the middle.

For this to work you need bigs that can shoot jumpers, dribble and pass. Qudus (and Tim) couldn’t do any of the three. Pickett could do two. Sibley was too timid, but he showed flashes. Billingsley looks like he can do all three, but we’ll have to see how his game translates.

The PAC-12 is having an incredible March. They will have three teams in the Elite 8, as Oregon and USC now play each other to join UCLA and Oregon St. Cronin really has done a nice job at UCLA. He seems to have really taken control of that program. They played some tough, strong defense against an excellent Alabama team. Plus they had strong fundamentals — they made their free throws, capitalized off Alabama turnovers, and didn’t panic when Alabama both made a run and tied it to force OT.

Don't think I've ever seen a HM school be that bad from the line as Alabama was today. They absolutely gave that one away.

UCLA played a traditional big man that's the same thing we have been doing 1 big man and 4 3pt shooters/shooters at all times. (Pickett, Bile, Carey, Dante/Blair *Dante does need to improve))

Both teams were pretty much cold from 3 for most of the night. Good looks, but bricks and long shots. They were forced to taking shots inside to get buckets. And UCLA was kicking it to Riley down low who was effective.

I live in LA. I knew Cronin would eventually have UCLA playing tough defense like his past Cincinnati teams.
