Interesting. Bracket Matrix has Loyola's average seed at 8.48. The Athletic has Loyola as a 7 seed.

Ackerman & the league members should hold an immediate vote to kick DePaul out if they decide to keep Leitao after this season is over... The mistake was probably letting DePaul into the Big East in the first place. They were already a horrible program. But but but the Chicago media market!

I don't care about any of this seeding stuff. I just want to know if that old nun that attended all of Loyola's games when they went to the Final Four is still alive and kicking. She was a hoot.

Anyway Dave Leitao survives this year? DePaul is almost always 2 wins per year. Ackerman & the league members should hold an immediate vote to kick DePaul out if they decide to keep Leitao after this season is over... I remember Dave Leitao pulling a Chicago Bulls' Phil Jackson against us this year. Down double digits Dave Leitao had his legs and arm crossed, eyes closed Basically falling asleep or sleeping as his team was was getting blown out Must be something in that Chicago air...smh

Not going to say that last foul was a flop...but there is something very enjoyable watching that call go against a team coached by a Dukie.
EDIT: Posted in error on this thread.

Duke just pulled out of the ACC tournament game today, because of COVID protocols, I guess someone in the program tested positive. That pretty much finishes their season

Speaking of the ACC: UNC is on fire...went on a 42-4 run against Notre Dame yesterday and has been playing well since losing to Marquette. What would it take for them to make the NCAAT? I doubt they make it outside of winning the ACC.

I doubt they make it outside of winning the ACC. Most brackets have them safely in at a 9-10 seed right now actually.

I guess I should have actually looked at their record, I thought they were having another terrible season like last year. 17-9 / 10-6 isnt bad. Wouldn't want to be the higher seed in their bracket.

I just saw that Xavier is trying to schedule a game for the weekend against someone good enough to pad their resume.
Nova is available.
