Think you meant small ball with Bile at the 5. If hes at the 4 then we're rolling out a C at 5 or someone like Kobe who doesnt have the height to guard a 5 unless he becomes Charles Barkley 2.0. No, I meant small ball with Bile at 4. That’s largely how we use him this year, though he would rather hang out on the perimeter and chuck threes half the time;) 6-7 has become fairly typical size for a college 4, though his 6-7, 190 lbs would be a little small historically to play 4, and is prototypical stature for a wing/swing/SF. All that stuff is largely less important than the way you play. And he can function as either a 3 with lousy handles or a solid, though shortish, 4. To put it another way, he’s a stretch 4 in a swingman’s body. I can’t see him at 5 unless he decided to put on a Creighton uni;) Chudier plays a lot bigger than 6-7 190. He looks like a tank and plays a lot more physical than someone who is only 190 lbs. Those numbers are either wrong or he has 1% body fat, with big bones and muscles upon muscle or a Rodman type tenacity and titanium body.

Agree that Bile looks and plays bigger than his size. But for reference, he’s same height and about 15 lbs lighter but very similar build (muscular and lean) to Boubacar Aw, guy who most on here will remember started at 3 on Pops’ last great team in 95-96, Iverson, Page, Aw, Jerome Williams and Othella. Aw was Iverson’s bodyguard and glue guy on that team at almost exactly same size and build as Bile.
Point is while I agree that Bile plays bigger than his size, college prototype body style for 3s of yesteryear (Lord, do I feel old) is now pretty standard for small ball college 4.
