Hire his Dad as a special assistant and let’s get Mr. Baldwin slotted into that starting 4 spot.

Hire his Dad as a special assistant or some $hit and let’s get Mr. Baldwin slotted into that starting 4 spot. This actually is a really good idea. He fills our biggest need for next year and gets the base excited again. I don't really know what Srs specialty is but if it's D this strategy should become option 1....

I know he probably doesn't have much help, but it's not like Baldwin has been dominating this year. Dude is averaging 12 points on 12 shots a game. Obviously, beggars can't be choosers, but lets not delude ourselves about Baldwin being any type of savior if he transfers our way.

I was just joking but Aminu and Patrick with what else is coming back is a solid team....also Patrick was in a similar situation as Aminu because he got all of the attention. In my hypothetical Patrick at minimum shares the load with Aminu and Dante......lol

If this is correct - and it may well be - if his choices were to go to the NBA as a first round pick or spend another year in college at a school that won zero (or let's be charitable and hope for the best - one) games in its conference this season, what is his choice likely to be?

He's definitely going pro unless he has an AWFUL pre-draft process. If he transfers here and we have a less than stellar season and he doesn't impress much more than he did in the Horizon League, he may go undrafted. Too risky.

Are people seriously discussing the possibility of a 5 star recruit transferring INTO this program?

Since Baldwin Sr. Is out of a job, would he be interested in an assistant coach contract while his son goes to GU? How about Twitter Harmon for another assistant coach position as long as Aminu stays in school? 😎

I realize that might be bending the rules just a bit, but hey, so what?

Most of the draft projections don't have him as a top 10 pick any longer, but he does look to be a boarder line first round pick. I guess if it ends up he is going to fall out of the first round I guess he may decide to go back to college for another year, but my guess is he goes in the first round and decides to stay in the draft.

You have to squint pretty hard at his freshman year stats to get excited about him as a draft prospect, but he has size and a good stroke (though it didn't particularly show up in college). I'd obviously love to take him on Georgetown.

Definitely reach out. Don’t plan on it but it makes sense to keep a scholarship available just in case he decides to come back.
