Thought I would give Dan a well-deserved moment of rest and start this off.
Keep it rolling. Move the ball. Defend.
Get the walk-ons a few minutes again!

The Bulldogs have won every home game and lost every away game save one-KenPom #310 Houston Baptist.
edit: They lost last night at home to 'Bama.

If you guys thought the arena was empty last game....no students this time So that means about 50 less people. I think the attendance will be a little better given it’s a Saturday game.

Fair point.
I’m excited though - will be first game I’m coming to this year, bringing the young kids to first game.
Hopefully there is SOME energy in the arena.

I've found that if you're loud and energetic, often times most of section will join in. Get enough sections then the arena seems lively! I do feel like part of the problem with our home atmosphere is that everyone waits for the team to do something to get amped up, whereas it should be the other way around. Show up excited and ready to make some noise!

Samford is 6-7 but 3/6 of those wins are against non D1 opponents. Every team with a pulse has blown them out: #74 Alabama beat them by 21, #77 Belmont beat them by 32, #78 Louisiana Tech beat them by 21, #155 Hawaii beat them by 21. They shoot the 3 really well 39.2% but they also are 315th in 3PA so they seem to neglect their one strength or it could be they shoot so well because they only shoot when completely wide open. They're 216th in 2pt% and 211th in FT%. They're 319th in not turning the ball over and they're 335th in defensive rebounding. So expect a lot of turnovers for them and offensive boards for us. Their defense appears to be porous rating 289th overall 219th against the 3 and 297th against the 2 surprisingly good FT defense at 92nd They're lead by a 5-10 PG who's #2 nationally in assist rate and 6th in steal % and very good at drawing fouls top 40. They're a veteran team starting 3 seniors a junior and a sophomore. With 2 freshman and a sophomore off the bench. They only have 9 players who have appeared in games it appears based on the kenpom data so not too deep. Should be another easy win with time to work in the bench, but they could always get hot from 3 and their 5-10 leader could take over the game, but it would be a very bad loss as they're just on the right side of 200.

Anyone have an idea of how to watch this while on an airplane (Delta)?

Anyone have an idea of how to watch this while on an airplane (Delta)? You should be able to watch it online through the Fox Sports site if you have in-flight wifi.

Show up excited and ready to make some noise! Just ask Magoo - he called out his home fans after the Oakland game for not energizing his team. Same situation - students had left. They had 16,000+, but that is relatively small in a football arena. His remarks did not go over well.

Hoping to catch most of the Hoyas game before heading out of hotel to watch Aztecs play Central Michigan in bowl game. Had a hell of a time finding a hotel with Fox Sports 1. For once glad it's an early start on a Saturday, but afraid the "crowd" could be embarrassingly small today--not a good look for a team trying to gain national prominence. Good test for Hoya guards against a good quick guard for Samford. Also need Nova to win today to help the conference overall ratings.

I was at GU during the Ewing years. When we played St. Leo’s, the Capital Center was completely empty.

Another really bad team with no size. Expect Yurt to get whatever he wants. If we give up open 3’s they may actually be able to knock them down. Other than that should be another easy one.
