Hey coach every time you hedge that screen with the big they are going to throw it back to the screener for the 3. Lets try not to leave him open.

Stop believing preseason rankings. They lost to "unranked" Washington last night. Either Baylor is over ranked or unranked Washington is better than people think. I think Washington is pretty good. McDaniels and Stewart are special but since they went to Washington they are under hyped.

UCA hasn't missed this half. That’s what happens when you allow a team to continue to take uncontested shots. I would take the over on this being another KenPom 100+ defensive team. I know Ewing considers them “junk defenses”, but he going to have to start thinking about mixing in some zones.

Govan took a lot of blame for being the poster child as the defensive drag as our senior leader. This should be James, Mac, and Josh’s team now and yet the defensive malaise continues.
On paper a team of fiery guys like Jagan, James, Josh, Mac, Allen, Galen, and the physical tools of Pickett and Yurt would make you think we’d be a much better defensive team. Something is missing in terms of playing as a cohesive unit.

How is UCA getting more FGA than the Hoyas; we have 10 TOs vs 6, but we have 33 RB to 15.

Jiggy may be in the conversation for our MVP if he keeps playing like this...steady, smart and consistent...

I'm not saying Jessie was anything special on D but he got way too much blame.

All told, not an impressive half. Too many turnovers, too many CA open threes, and poor shooting. Yurt, Mosley, and Leblanc the bright spots. Not sure how you can leave Pickett off that list. He has really played an all-round game on both ends. I think that Picket and Mosley are looking so much better this year. Yurt is just fine. LeBlanc still LeBlanc. I think McClung is so much better as a PG than a SG. He is a completely different player in that role than he is when paired with Akinjo and trying to hunt his shots. Akinjo is up and down today .

#16 Baylor?....if that's middling, I can't wait to be middling...smh Stop believing preseason rankings. They lost to "unranked" Washington last night. Yeah unranked Washington that has 2 lottery picks and 3 McD's AAs....

All the fiery talk goes out the window if you can’t be in sync as a team, to me they play D the same they play offense pretty much individually...

Well at least we shouldn't have to feel the wrath of "why is Mac on such a short leash?" after this one.

I would like to see a lineup of Akinjo, Mosely, Picket, LeBlanc and Yurt (as of now this should be the starting lineup).
