Terrell Allen's fading corner 3 against Butler may end up being the last happy moment of the season....I don't remember a team that was so unlucky before. You can very easily make a case that with Mac and Yurt healthy we are a comfortable at large tourney team...even after the transfers...I'm sure that's why Terrell and Jagan are so disappointed....

Seemed to grab at his knee, but then got up, hopefully just a knock.

Seemed to grab at his knee, but then got up, hopefully just a knock. That's where he was fouled by Gillespie on the drive. The refs were not calling it with 1 or 2 seconds left. Nothing hard, but still a foul.

He’s our best player at this point. If he plays well...we can win games. He had a heck of a second half versus nova.

In his Instagram story you can see him practice in warmups the same exact shot from the same exact spot where he took the end of game one. Clearly, he is comfortable banking a shot from the area he shot from. I think he dribbled to his money spot. He almost made it and was probably fouled. Not sure Blair was capable of hitting a game winner yesterday, as he was cold. We didn’t have much time and you do want to get a final shot up.

Blair has played poorly in two critical winnable games (DePaul and Villanova). If he plays even average instead of game 7 John Starks we easily win those two games.

Only so much magical fairy dust to go around. Yesterday it was sprinkled on Pickett.

If Terrell was still getting his masters this last year, I wonder if he had any presence in the locker room or in practice. Great dude for Dante to learn from.

I think I read that people who finished their degree in 2020 were invited to return this year which could be why he is on campus taking photos.

If he is class of 2020 I look forward to seeing him at reunions for years to come. Congratulations Terrell. Hoya for life.

Terrell's experience on the Hilltop speaks volumes, sounds like he really enjoyed and appreciated his time @ Georgetown. This may go further into the kind of player Patrick needs. A hard-working, student-athlete who puts the TEAM first. That's what Terrell was for his year here, and also what a guy like Jamorko and Jahvon were. Jahvon clearly had his run-ins with Pat, but took them like a man and stayed loyal and worked hard, eventually accepting his role off the bench later in the season.
Obviously most of these kids are chasing to showcase their skills, but you can still do that while playing for the name on the FRONT of the jersey. I hope the realization now is that we need team first guys. Hard working student-athletes that want to be here. Coach Ewing clearly isn't going to put up with the "me first attitude", he's too old school, so I hope his recruiting (and transfers) are based around character guys), that's what he and Georgetown need. You work hard in the gym, and work hard in the classroom.
