Don't forget...Chris Mullin turns down St. John's. Oh, I guess that doesn't count.

McDermott turning down Ohio State seems a little bit of a Pyrrhic victory considering OSU ended up with arguably a more successful BE coach. Other than that, by and large the BE has done a very good job of keeping its coaching talent.

“Sources”
While the pair has yet to officially make a decision, sources close to the situation reportedly told Zizzo that Sam has decided to attend Virginia and Joey has selected Michigan State.

Not sure either target school can free up 2 scholarship spots to take both.

Not sure either target school can free up 2 scholarship spots to take both. Wisconsin was the only school with multiple schollys (four) available. Reports suggest that the Hauser's still hold a grudge because Wisconsin (Bo Ryan) didn't recruit Sam at all out of high school...

They’re like the Bosas of college basketball.

It’s a bad look for kids looking to play in the NBA.

It’s a bad look for kids looking to play in the NBA. You mean the NBA where guys whine and complain about every single foul call? Maybe the Hausers already have elite level diaper rash. I think they now measure that right after height in shoes and vertical.

Didn't one of them want to stay at MU and the other wanted to transfer I've heard all kind rumors why they left Marquette. Haven't really heard that one specifically but it is definitely possible. I think they miscalculated the market a little bit. They absolutely wanted to stay together but only Wisconsin offered that opportunity and while they did visit there post transfer, reportedly they did it reluctantly...

I think they now measure that right after height in shoes and vertical. Arguing over calls is a time honored tradition picked up by players long before they reach (if they make it that far) to the NBA. But whining about not wanting to go to a team, after leaving another on which you had a starring role, because that said team didn't previously show you enough respect is a whole other level of childishness. The entire family, not just the two sons, have come off as entitled during this whole process.

In your own life do you crawl back to those who have rejected you previously? Especially in cases where they’ve shown to have imperfect judgment, etc.? I mean, it would be one thing if that were their only option, but it isn’t....

I dont know why the Hauser Bros left Quette but if its because of not wanting to be gunned out by Howard....I understand. Quette isn't SHU. The Hauser Bros are good and if they have NBA aspirations then they needed to get away from Howard.....
