Still awaiting for Quentin Goodin's decision. He's expected back to a team that is being slept on within the conference and nationally. Could be a top 25 team with the core back and the addition of an underrated freshmen class coming in...

Good for the conference. We want a strong BigEast. Some were in the "sky is falling" camp (particularly on holylandofhoops), but we're still only one year removed from two 1-seeds in the dance, and I think the bottom of the conference is just getting stronger.

Another slept on team Nationally. Providence already got its first win of the season when Coach Cooley decided to remain as the Friars Chief Commander. No one expects Coach Cooley to have back to back down seasons. They have a ton of talent and depth coming back. He's already knocked it of the park In the Transfer market with the addition of PG Pipkin and Forward/Center Horchler. David Duke should be much better in year two. Hopefully Reeves stays healthy for the full season. Also if Emitt Holt can give them anything near what he gave the Friars two seasons ago before he got ill....All the makings of Coach Cooley's most talented team and another NCAA Tournament birth and a sleeper for a sweet 16 appearance...

Xavier will be top 25 at some point for sure. The chemistry they built last season clearly showed as the year went on. It took them a while to figure out how to play without Blueitt and Macura, but I think they'll be a tough out come March

Technically Powell can remain in the draft and if he goes Undrafted return back to Seton Hall as long as he informs Seton Hall's AD by the first Monday after the NBA draft....

Arguing over calls is a time honored tradition picked up by players long before they reach (if they make it that far) to the NBA. But whining about not wanting to go to a team, after leaving another on which you had a starring role, because that said team didn't previously show you enough respect is a whole other level of childishness. The entire family, not just the two sons, have come off as entitled during this whole process. Legitimate question - how is that childish? In your own life do you crawl back to those who have rejected you previously? Especially in cases where they’ve shown to have imperfect judgment, etc.? I mean, it would be one thing if that were their only option, but it isn’t.... It's childish if the one big time program that allows the two to stay together on the same team is rejected because that program had the audacity to not recruit one of them when he was in high school. Grow the ::bleep:: up. Programs don't always bat 1.000 in their recruiting decisions; it's not personal. I don't care about the Wisconsin program but it has a rep as a classy club that does things the right way. If it had come to realize its mistake and is now offering a soft landing for both brothers, then why not let bygones be bygones if the actual preference was for the two bros to stick together? I guess they need manufactured chips on their shoulders to pump themselves up.

One of the last major decisions left among BIG EAST players who are "testing the waters" of professional basketball. Krampelj situation is a little different being that he's originally from Slovenia, already got his undergraduate degree, 24 years old, and has torn his ACL three times with the last injury occurring in 2017-2018 season. Maybe he gets his professional cloud clock started just because of his age? Maybe he doesn't want to risk another knee injury as an amateur? Being from Europe he will have plenty of options in Euro basketball.
If Krampelj does return, Creighton will bring back there entire starting five and top seven scorers from a third place BIG EAST (I know almost everybody finished tied for 3rd) and an overall 20-15 record.
If Krampelj, Powell, and Goodin return, the BIG EAST could be looking at a possible seven maybe eight NCAA Tournament teams with an improving DePaul that's going to do it's fair share of damage this upcoming season...

I guess they need manufactured chips on their shoulders to pump themselves up. Makes sense, I didn’t realize you were filling in gaps with an assumed narrative. I was more talking about the facts in and of themselves. First of all you’re assuming the priority is that they wanted to stay together and that’s staying together was the best possible choice for them. Clearly they were comfortable enough choosing different schools and neither of us knows how that decision process played out. Secondly, you have no idea what happened during their high school recruitment. For all we know the UW staff could’ve simply told him he wasn’t good enough to play for them and never would be (like what happened to Mac, that chip worked out pretty well). Don’t forget he was Mr. Basketball in Wisconsin, so it’s not as if he wasn’t credentialed and there’s at least a chance the decision not to offer him a spot was political. Or the staff could’ve led him on then recruited over him. Or any other number of things, that’s the point. I’m not sure why you are automatically assuming UW is where they needed to go and making it seem like it’s an irresponsible decision not to go there, but that’s your opinion and so it would make sense that you see it as childish if they are making a decision that hurts them. I don’t see why UW should be a priority over the options they chose. Just because they’re brothers doesn’t mean they have to be joined at the hip. Thirdly, I’m not sure that qualifies as a “manufactured” chip. Usually, when someone tells you you’re not good enough to fill a role you’ve poured your heart, sweat and tears into (especially when reality says otherwise), that is considered a slight. Obviously it’s not a grudge you hold forever, but if that’s not an organic chip then I don’t know what is. What are some examples of “non-manufactured” chips in your opinion then?

Makes sense, I didn’t realize you were filling in gaps with an assumed narrative. I was more talking about the facts in and of themselves. Well, considering you are also going off an assumed narrative that Wisconsin “dissed” one of the brothers when he was in high school, stop trying to act as if you are dealing with a complete deck of facts of your own. I assumed they wanted to stay together because that has often been reported. It may not be true but if we were waiting on 100% certainty regarding everything going on with these two then pretty much this entire discussion about them would have to be set aside. Please don’t hold me alone to the standard of absolute verification before weighing in. That being said if they weren’t particularly holding on to the hope of playing with one another I can safely assume they would have likely come to their individual decisions more quickly. You have no idea what exactly went down with their high school recruitment either. It’s all hearsay right? Pot meet kettle, sir. For all we know Wisconsin coaches were a little slow in going after the guy because of needs and other players they were looking at. Doesn’t mean they had disrespected him. This happens in basketball all the time; it happens with the Georgetown program. And it isn’t always the case that the programs were dismissive or rude to players, often times they simply had their eyes set on other recruits they had already prioritized. Sometimes it could be a numbers game. We don’t know. So if its fine for you to speculate, it is sure as hell right for me to speculate. Also I did not claim Wisconsin was the best place to go. I wrote a response to rumors that the two were not going to Wisconsin out of spite. If that was the case I would consider that childish. End of story. If Wisconsin made a mistake in the recruiting is that any worse than the two of them making a mistake based upon the fact they have both left the team, Marquette, that they had committed too? Are only players allowed to make such mistakes in terms of decision making? Anyway as I wrote earlier I have no skin in this game and I don’t care that Wisconsin didn’t land them. But do I think Wisconsin is a program that was worthy of them matriculating too if they wanted to stay together? Honestly, yes. So I wonder if these guys tried going to a program that they had rejected in favor of Marquette. If so should those programs have ignored them out of being slighted despite the man hours and travel they put into recruiting them? Or should the men running those programs acted mature enough to put aside the initial rejection and be opened to welcoming the two brothers into their programs? It seems you think players are the only ones that can be slighted. Nonsense. And, yeah, in my opinion these two dudes have egos that are out of control. They were both starters on a team that stayed in the top ten for most of the season. They got accolades for being part of a successful team in which they got to put up numbers. But because they possibly felt they didn’t get as many shots as they wanted they are willing to abandon the program? Sorry, if I can’t be a fanboy of such behavior based upon all I do know. But I guess you can. Good for you.

But I guess you can. Good for you. Not really. I’m accounting for all possibilities and not ruling any out, while you seem to have developed a specific narrative. If you don’t know the difference between the two methods I don’t know what to tell you, really. You seemed to have missed my entire point. I couldn’t even read past your first few sentences. I get that you’re speculating, but he language you use isn’t always consistent with speculation. To me, calling two 21 year olds (I know that’s not their exact age...) childish and making judgments of their character (saying that they “are” childish and telling them to grow up) seems to cross the threshold of speculation and into more conclusive territory but that’s just me (“If, true....then” statements exist for a reason). I’m not sure why I thought I’d get a legitimately logical response if I asked the question so that’s on me (fool me 1000000 times, eh?). Just forget I ever inquired and go about your day, you clearly don’t value detail in language or think that words matter and that’s perfectly fine. Just wanted to check whether it was indifference or actual evidence that got you emotional. I was literally just asking about your methodology and you blew it out of proportion and got super defensive. How ironic, why am I not surprised...
