No joke. You’re a nobody juco who hasn’t stepped foot on campus and you’re running your mouth about the best team in the country who may or may not decide to give us a game. You may think it’s refreshing but anyone outside or a few Hoya fans will laugh at this. Bet coach tells him to pipe down. Hoyas haven’t earned the right to talk junk. Let people have fun.

Not a big deal. No need to overreact.

Not a big deal. No need to overreact. Not sure it’s an overreaction just don’t think it looks good. Flip side is this won’t register on anyone’s radar.

He said what all athletes in every sport say before a season. The goal is always to win a championship. Shoot for the stars and maybe end up on the moon. Sheesh!

You see any of the current players who just suffered an NIT first round loss chirping Duke? All I’m saying is earn it before you do it.

I’m just glad we recruited someone who has the expectation that we are going to be better and win games. The kid’s a dog. He is going to start and make us much better. Tired of apathetic and passive players.

If trash is talked and your entire one-and-done factory isn't there to hear it next year, does it make a sound?

Too much being made of this...kid is just fired up and enthusiastic about joining the Hoyas, and realizes that he's got to put in the work/effort to be successful...I'm not big on ever "stoking the enemy's fire," but in this case I love his attitude and hope he shares it with his teammates without "publicizing" it and uses it as motivation...welcome aboard, Galen

I personally love the attitude. We have missed that fire. Jabril had it, Sapp had it, and now James and Galen will have it. We need some of that step on your neck when down attitude and have missed it. The alternative is to win a big game and then follow it up with a 30 point loss to DePaul where no one shows up.

Even as an old fart - you guys are really bothered by this? Even if he means it, who cares? Let his future teammates know he is ready to contribute some attitude.

Agree the program has missed that type of attitude. But man who are you to start chirping the best when you haven’t stepped foot on campus? When you are a mid level juco recruit? That’s not your place. You want to state generically that the program isn’t going to backdown from anyone, I’m all aboard. But to go out and start naming names, outside of a few Hoya fan boys it brings at best indifference and at worst more ridicule. For a program that’s done squat for too many years, do your talking on the court.

Picture of Galen Alexander (#9) and Josh LeBlanc when they played together in AAU Photo from Darrel Owens When was the photo taken? Galen looks taller than Josh. I've seen Galen listed anywhere from 6'5" to 6'7" (https://georgetown.rivals.com/news/confirmed-alexander-commits-) and Josh is listed at 6'7".

"You'll play Duke in November on national tv and we'll make a lot of noise", "we need your energy and effort because it has been missing from the position you play", "You work hard and you get rewarded", "we're bringing GU basketball culture back to what it was", etc...

Sounds like another Josh LeBlanc to me. As long as he can back it up on the court, please let these young guys have some fun. With his spirit, we will have four true warriors: LeBlanc, Mac, Akinjo, and Alexander! Lets do this, Baby!

MG was one of a kind and could have been a special NBA player. Absolutely! I wonder if there is a way that he could become even more plugged in at Georgetown? How old do you think he is, now? Must be in set with PE.
