Considering that Gtown just tied for 3rd in the conference this season, didn't you expect them to be solidly in the top half anyway? Well, other teams get better, too, you know? And we are losing a first team BE player. But, yes, I think we should expect that. Let's face it, the conference pretty much sucked. 3 of the teams that finished in 3rd place didn't even make the tourney. Ugh. True Indeed but I'd take Gtown with the addition of Y7 over DePaul, St. John's, Butler & PC for sure... Xavier has a nice core coming back but the loss of Hankins will hurt plus Castlin & Welage play a good amount over their younger players...

It's the first time in awhile that when I look at our roster, I don't see any glaring needs. We have all the pieces to be a quality team. Now its a matter of becoming a smart, tough cohesive unit.

I think we still need a sharpshooter. Although, I'm praying we give Blair more minutes next year so we can see him become a more consistent 3 point shooter because I think he has the potential. I think Galen is exactly what we needed at the 3 though. His ability to drive and finish tough shots be a good complement to Pickett's finesse game. I see them each playing about 15-20 mpg next year.

My guess is that Josh's input was part of the recruiting analysis, as he could comment first-hand on Galen's character, on-court demeanor/intensity, and skill set.
It is pretty remarkable that the Louisiana pipeline remains open for business for the Hoyas, going back initially to Pops and continued by Esherick (DJ Owens) and JTIII (Greg Monroe).

Didn’t one of our good centers come from Louisiana? Maybe Othella?

Great. Let’s talk junk about the top team in the tourney before you get to campus.

Great. Let’s talk junk about the top team in the tourney before you get to campus. Are you joking? I can’t tell. Or are you suggesting that he is creating bulletin board material for a bunch of guys that will be in the NBA next year. On a GU recruiting site. While the aggrieved team is in the middle of slightly more important matters. For a potentisl game. That might take place 7-8 months from now. Has to be a joke. hm

No joke. You’re a nobody juco who hasn’t stepped foot on campus and you’re running your mouth about the best team in the country who may or may not decide to give us a game. You may think it’s refreshing but anyone outside or a few Hoya fans will laugh at this. Bet coach tells him to pipe down. Hoyas haven’t earned the right to talk junk.
