Sucks that the senior students won't be able to be there for last home game. Praying we're locked in from the jump

From now out, after every win the next game will be the biggest of the season.

One team is likely last four in. The other team is potentially first four out.
This is the play-in game to the play-in game. Win or go home.

I was surprised by Pickett's DNP tonight. I hope he uses it as an opportunity to reflect about his role in the team and to gain that fire and confidence to put his skills to work. We will need him at his best for this game.

Seton Hall finishes on the road at Georgetown, then vs Marquette and Villanova at home. Ouch... They have to be looking at the Hoyas game as their absolute must win of the three, given that it seems a decent possibility that they drop both of their last two.
Two desperate teams, one looking for revenge and one terrified of a loss. Should make for some drama.

In general, I'd rather come out looking for revenge than being terrified of a loss (my .02). I think we take it.

Two desperate teams, one looking for revenge and one terrified of a loss. Should make for some drama. While Seton Hall handled the Hoyas with ease in the first meeting it is really going to come down to how well they can contain Powell on Saturday. You need to contain him early and not allow him to score any easy baskets or give him open looks. If he gets going and is feeling confident, he becomes almost impossible to stop. Even in the last game I thought Jagan did an Ok job contesting his shots later in the game but he was rolling and he made some really tough, contested shots. I am confident Coach Ewing comes up with a game plan on how to slow him down on Saturday and make him earn everything he gets. His Seton Hall teammates really feed off him and when they see him get it going they all play much better. Might be a game to double him early and make him give it up and force some of his teammates to make shots. Not an easy thing for most of the rest of their team, especially on the road. Even with all that said, it is going to be a tough game and the Hoyas will need to play really well to win. Georgetown is good enough to win this game but anything less than a full 40 minute effort will not get it done.

This will be a tough one. I was very impressed with Seton Hall in the last game; they were/are better than I thought. Powell is obviously great, but Cale and the center very good as well.

It's hard to believe given their performance against us in NJ, but this is not a very good offensive team. Actually only Providence has been worse on offense during conference play. They're the 2nd worst 3pt shooting team and turn the ball over more frequently than any other team during conf play. If we give the same effort defensively as we did against Nova, we'll be in good shape to win this game.

This is a huge game!! I’d trade a win versus Seron Hall for a loss on the road to DePaul.

I would throw a box-and-one on Powell for a few random possessions here and there just to try to throw him off his game.

Also, we need everyone on the boards on every defensive possession.

I am confident the intensity will be there Saturday. Jump on them right from the start and don't let up, Hall will melt down

I am sure the intensity will be there, but how about focus, e.g. after his steals and breakouts against DePaul, I hope Mac doesn’t get to really wandering on D. We need him on the floor, not on the bench.

If the players want this win as badly as I do, we should be fine. This is the only team that destroyed us so far this season.
