It wasn't a shot that flew over the basket and landed in a teammate's hands for a layup, was it?

Q is not starting. That must make his handler very happy. I guess he accomplished his goals especially if Maryland starts winning with Q not only minutes reduced but not starting too which would be an insult to the handler. Oh well, I guess you win some and you lose some. Sorry about that buddy!

His handler has been mighty quiet on social media when it comes to Q.

Reese (B-more kid) is a good freshmen and mobile. Gives them more than what Q provides.
Q is just a match-up problem for the Terps and their roster. This was going on before Turgeon resigned. Don't think they really did their due diligence on Q and vice versa. Q is not Bruno or Sticks. Former terps' bigs who could move and get up and down the court.
It was a backward move (not even lateral) for Q to go to the Terps. It is a shame.

Sucks for him, but it's a lesson he would've had to learn eventually. No coach in the NBA, or G League for that matter, and virtually no coach in a Power 6 conference would run their offense through a slightly above average post player. A HOF center stuck in the 80's style of play who vastly over values the center position in modern day basketball since it was the position he played is probably the lone exception. Q will need to really transform his game if he ever wants a chance at the next level. Averaging 15 and 10 at Georgetown might've been more fun for him, but it wouldn't of changed that fact, and if anything would've probably delayed the realization of the type of player he is vs the type of player he needs to be. I wish him the best. Too bad a bunch of grown men are giddy like school girls every time a 20 year old kid who had the audacity to try and better himself and his future has a bad game. I guess misery loves company.

What happened to Qudus Wahab?
I was really afraid that Wahab would star at Maryland and the DC media would be sure to remind its audience that he left Patrick Ewing and Georgetown. Yikes, have you seen him play lately? Watched tonight’s game against Michigan. He looks awful. Sharing time with another big. Anyone know what’s going on with him and Maryland?

He's not as mobile as the freshman Julian Reese. Only 16 minutes, 4 pts and 1 reb. Yeah, obviously. But Manning seems to run the offense around him rather than thru him like Patrick did. What a huge mistake he seems to have made by transferring.

Never bite the hand that feeds you. So true, at the risk of sounding old but some of these kids these days can get too greedy like I remember every time I would have gum up through college, I rip the sticks in half to make it last longer and when people would ask for a piece I didn't mind giving it to them but when I did literally most of the time they would say "that's it?" as if they deserve more when I literally just gave them free gum the same size I have, even when I didn't know the person well or at all they still had the guts to say that and I don't mind sharing but damn some people man

However in this case, I am not blaming the kid. I am blaming the handler. I feel bad for Q but the handler got too greedy and he didn't recognize that he had a good thing with Q being at Georgetown working with Patrick. Some experts were shaking their heads at the decision for Q leaving Patrick for Maryland. Q literally had the keys to the kingdom and he definitely would have been the focal point of the offense this season and we would have been winning games. The handler said he got tired of the losing. Well with Q, Maryland is constantly losing and at the end of last season, we were on an upward trajectory with Q being on our team. It is no doubt in my mind had we had Q on our team this year and we would have been playing our big man game like we had last year, this team would have been in the middle of the Big East pack at this point. Instead we are at the bottom and Maryland is at the bottom and so the handler got too greedy, disrespected the work that Patrick was doing with Q and now he is finding out that the grass is not often greener on the other side.

We had one guy in our crowd who was a particular mooch. He would always ask to bum something off of whatever we were eating or drinking. One of my friends (long since deceased, RIP) decided to get back at him one day. He opened a Coke can, drank some out of it, and then filled it with cigarette butts and ashes, fully expecting the other guy to ask for some of it. Sure enough, the other guy came around, and my friend pretended to drink the Coke. The other guy asked for some, so my friend handed him the can, and we watched him take a big swig out of it - and proceed to spit it all over the floor.

When I was a freshman in high school, I went to a camp during spring break at LaSalle. We stayed in dorm rooms of guys who were on break. My roommate found a bottle of vodka, he thought, in a closet and proceeded to take a major swig of...hair tonic.
