My favorite player right now. I love his energy, enthusiasm, style of play, defensive presence, and leadership. He has a lot of room for growth.

He could be soooo good in a few years- whether in college or the next level.

It'd be nice to see the program highlight this enthusiasm...

A bouncier Josh!?!? That'll definitely help him avoid the mid/late season swoon he had.

Josh's desire, nose for the ball and athleticism are irreplaceable and what every team needs. Love this guy. IMO, he's at least as important to this squad as Akinjo.

Love 'em both. Every piece of the puzzle needs to fit together, Patrick is doing a great job of collecting up the pieces.

In my opinion, LeBlanc was clearly the best player of the freshman last year. And I don't say that to detract from Akinjo, I just think LeBlanc was that good last year.
Akinjo is just more front-and-center as the point guard and has the ball in his hands a lot more, though. So I can see why people feel that way. But, I still think LeBlanc was easily the best freshman last year, and I don't think it was even particularly close.
(Before people take this the wrong way, I think all three rising sophomores are very good players, and we are very lucky to have all three of them. So I don't mean any ill will toward any of them.)

I could see someone making this argument based on his advanced numbers, but why do you think Big East Coaches disagree with you? I would guess he reason is they're looking at role, responsibility, and importance to the team. I don't think you can say one is "clearly" better when the roles, and what's asked of the player are so different.
