All this makes perfect sense from the point of view of young athletes who do not want to defer income and who value basketball more than academic education. So I get it. But, man, it's hard to be a college basketball fan these days, especially for a losing program that seems to stumble two steps backward for every step forward.

It seems like there is no bond between the players , coaches and Georgetown University. Like Dickerson said, how do you not want to play for Patrick and what he represents ( stayed in college for four years and completed his education ) and to represent your University. What is Villanova, Seton Hall, Xavier and Providence doing differently other that winning games. There is more that just winning games.
