First time around SJU opened as 8 point favorites at MSG, so at least we gained some ground. This is going to be such a tough game to win.

Given the significant snowstorm coming tomorrow, the crowd will likely be tiny, so I don’t expect St. John’s to have a big crowd (but we likely won’t have many fans either).

Pound it inside to Jesse: wouldn’t it be sweet if Jesse led us to 2-3 wins in the BET: his absence from any All Big East mention is plain disrespectful

If Jessie could get Owens in foul trouble, our inside game would dominate. Two words - pump fake!

It will never come out, but I bet Derrickson was held back to some extent for the BET. On the flip side, the same could be said for Ponds. I know it's a long shot, but there is way more to play for this week than the meaningless last game of the season. I could be misremembering, but I thought the announcers during the Nova game specifically said that he was held out so as to be ready for the BET.

A game against the Hoyas has always been the elixir that cures all ails.

I doubt anyone could say that definitively, but yeah, it's very likely that he was nursing something and there was not much point in losing to Nova by 20 instead of 30. You gotta figure he is playing tonight, no?

Amazing. No Hoya related story in WaPo this morning. No interview with PE. No update on MD. We seem to be slowly fading into the March Madness sunset. Man 2 straight wins would do wonders for the program right now.

Hopefully the snow keeps the Johnnies fans home safe and warm. Hoya fans are, of course, made from hardier stock.

Newsday reported that Ponds is playing.
I believe that MD will also be playing.
I'll be at Cafe 31, then MSG, as always. Let's go.

I expect the Hoyas should win this game tonight, if Derrickson plays. I understand beating a team three times in a year is tough, but the Hoyas have been steadily improving all year and assuming Marcus is healthy tonight, I see no reason their improvement doesn't continue. I think they are a deeper team with a big advantage in the post. Pickett and Blair both needed to play well (not great, but good) to provide some balanced scoring to take some of the focus off of Jessie and Marcus and if they do I think Georgetown will be playing again tomorrow.

True and Ewing did mentioned in the post game press conf. his ankle was getting worse.

After we beat St. John's twice they went and beat Duke, then Nova. So my advice is BEWARE and let's go Hoyas!
