Does Miller have a burner phone with him?

The biggest question now remains where Doutrive will go. The senior remains unsigned but Arizona coach Sean Miller was in attendance. It could be a landing spot for Doutrive after O’Neal decommitted from the program last week. Regardless of where he goes, Doutrive given his past success, has proven he belongs at a Division I program. “I’m trying to be an NBA star, I just know I have to work to get there,” Doutrive said. “I just need to stay humble and keep working. I’m making my decision very soon.” www.dailynews.com/2018/03/17/birmingham-boys-basketball-denied-historic-run-to-cif-state-title-game/

It just seems things have been awfully quiet with respect to Doutrive and Georgetown. Maybe he plays his cards close to his vest. Maybe PE was in CA to see him when he popped into see Akinjo.
As an outsider it has been tough to discertain whether we are still at play or one side has moved on.

It boggles my mind how Arizona can continue to run with the bear down motto. All I can think about when I hear that is having a bowel movement. Is that just me? Stupidest motto ever.

Anyone misguided enough to do this under the current circumstances is probably one you don't want to have any part of your favorite program/team. And I make this claim as one who didn't think the kid was going to choose GU anyway. Good luck to him.

It already looks like people have forgotten about this scandal for the most part and Miller isn't going anywhere. There might be some heavy penalties coming their way from the NCAA which would keep five star guys from coming, but for someone like Doutrive who gets to be a major part of their team from day one at such a nationally recognized program like Arizona it makes perfect sense.

It's pretty obvious Miller isn't getting fired anytime soon, it's also pretty obvious the FBI case won't be settled anytime soon either so where's the issue with going to play for a good coach?

He has weeks to make a decision and choose a high level program who are not facing likely penalties in the next year or two. He has no idea the level of penalties Arizona may face WHILE he is probably still in school. It could include banishment from NCAA tournaments. He has options. And picking a program typically involves figuring the character of the coach you will suit up for. How does this kid, his family and his advisers have any faith in Miller's character unless they are okay with this type of speculation and accusations going on? And if they are okay with that type of stuff then, yeah, keep him and his support group away from my team.

Why do you feel the need to judge him and put him down? Basically saying he isn’t good enough for Georgetown if he is going to go to Arizona?

It said he was demonstrating questionable judgement. Rarely is this confined to a single domain of life.

Arizona has already fired a top asst coach for paying a recruit...last time I checked, the head coach is responsible for that...now there's is evidence that there may be a FBI wire tap of Miller offering $100k to a player (Ayton)...now, do you think that someone/the FBI made this up/fabricated it? of course, he's denying it...these are pretty incriminating signs, and for a person of sound mind and good judgment to arbitrarily dismiss them when their future is at stake just because "he's a good coach" is pretty absurd if there are very attractive alternative options available...the fact that several of their recruits have decommitted ought to speak for itself, and certainly ought to give major pause to other recruits and their families I would think...yet there are always some who will "buy in" and they will have to live with the consequences of their decisions...

Everyone knows it’s a dirty system, so when it surfaces periodically no one is phased.
