THIS! I am certain that Dr. Q did not mean to suggest that we have zero chance of any wins after tomorrow - right Dr.? Right. Just meant that this is the last game we will go into where we can be expected to win. All the rest of our games we will be underdogs and playing higher ranked teams. As for Laeto, not just his Technical foul was a boneheaded mistake but also his failure to pressure the ball all game showed me he had no clue. Notice that Nova pressed the entire game (not that they had to) because Jay Wright knew we would either turn the ball over or rush our shots - which we did.

Yeah hopefully Laeto will make similar mistakes tomorrow.

The last of our four "can win" games. I expect another game like Saturday's, i.e. an ugly win. Hey what classic win is pretty in the Big East. This is what made and makes the Big East.

Take nothing for granted...DePaul can be a competitive (even highly competitive for periods during games) team and they will be very hungry for a win against us...as we have seen, and know by now for sure, we have to come to play 40 minutes of basketball at a high level...for us, its growth time...bring the passion and effort and continue to improve..

I'm guessing DePaul fans are saying the same thing - this is a very winnable game. For them.

Line has moved to -5. Go figure. O/U 144.5. For entertainment purposes only.

On the DePaul board they are suggesting that their center, Marin Maric, is unlikely to play tomorrow (sprained knee). Not sure how accurate that is.

On the DePaul board they are suggesting that their center, Marin Maric, is unlikely to play tomorrow (sprained knee). Not sure how accurate that is. A big X-factor for this game is the availability of DePaul’s senior center Marin Maric. Maric missed the last game against Butler with a left knee sprain, and it is unclear whether or not he will play on Wednesday. He has been a starter for Leitao, and in the first game against the Hoyas, he scored 18 points with five rebounds. At 6-foot-11 and 240 pounds, he also presents a physical challenge for Govan on both offense and defense. If Maric does not play, it could be an ideal opportunity for Govan to bounce back with a big game. georgetownvoice.com/2018/01/23/pregame-primer-depaul-blue-demons-2/

We better come ready to play or we could lose. The last DePaul game wasn't exactly a blowout.
Consistency is what you are looking for when building a winning program. Our underclassman performed well in the St John's game. Can they build off of that and carry it over into the DePaul game?
That will be the key.
Go Hoyas!

Agreed, we have played better on the road to my eyes. Will probably be a pretty small crowd, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we came out flat. Need to keep the ball lvng and execute.

DePaul will be giving the starting nod at the center position to walk-on Peter Ryckbosch vs. Hoyas tonight hahaha. He keeps his mind in the game. We cannot underestimate any player. Gotta love this young man he wants to eat. Go Hoyas!
This young man is a fighter check him out after one of his high school games.

After that 2 OT game I don't the Hoyas will come out flat. I think they feel they have some momentum. That game was huge confident builder for the Hoyas and our fans I'm thinking. This game could be a blowout by the Hoyas.
