Hoyas really should have their lob entry passes to their bigs down against smaller dudes. This is silly basic basketball.

There was a group who stopped practicing the Princeton and then it all fell apart. Akoy was complaining about it. Interesting, I hadn't heard that. Was Akoy complaining about the Princeton or about the group that stopped practicing it? Either way, it's sort of depressing. Akoy's high school coach and family friend used to post here. And was saying Akoy was complaining about a certain group of players who weren't working hard or listening.

If the Hoyas win it'll be a good nonconference road win on Sat. I wouldn't go that far yet. Richmond has one win over a UAB team that just lost to Buffalo. That said we will get a better idea of what they are in the next 2 games with Fore playing. Trust me

Good T.O. by Ewing to make sure the team gets a good offensive shot the next time down the court.

what I like is the kids aren't scared at the end of the game like they seemed to be the last two years.

Nice to see Hoyas making free throws.
This guys have a lot of work to do, but there is quite a bit of improvement around the team over last year.

5 players in double figures and almost 7 in double figures.
80 points vs a slow down Princeton Offense, not bad.

Nice to see Hoyas making free throws. This guys have a lot of work to do, but there is quite a bit of improvement around the team over last year. This was truly the game. We shot 22-26 from the line. They shot 11-15. It was the difference - it’s nice to win one of these considering the last several years we lost many of these games because we gave up the FT edge. While I am very happy to see the team win this, it exposed a ton of weaknesses that we have that our Big East opponents will take advantage of if we don’t clean things up.

We won a game thanks to our free throw and 3 point shooting. The start of a new era for sure!!!!

Nice win, we are not very good. Defensively Pickett may be the worst player I have seen. I am happy we are 4-0.

To me, this game shows the benefit of the easy games. Much improved offensive confidence across the board. Mulmore's finishing has improved a lot since game one as well.

Liked how the guys stayed tough and continued to execute.
The TO's were concerning, but the team will likely improve in this aspect as they become more accustomed to each other. The soft non-conference schedule will allow them to gel and gain confidence.
Great to see that we can score. Though we were being torched by dribble penetration for a good portion of the game, it was great to see the stops at the end. We were lucky though. Those open three's if made could have changed the game.
Overall, a solid away non-conference win against a team that was clearly pumped up to play us.

Shuts up the anti Ewing/Thompson crowd. But expect the Richmond is horrible excuse to come up now.
