Hope we hear positive news soon from either him or Fleming. Think Phillips is a low-key stud who is way under the radar because he doesn't play on the shoe circuit. Could potentially be a program changing player if we get him. That is how high his ceiling is. Full court press please.

With our roster and the recruits we're going after we have the makings of a very good defensive team come 2018.

Is there any confirmation of Phillips visit, feedback, photos, followup commentary, etc...I really like this guy but there hasn't been a peep about his visit...

Cancelling VTech sounds good, but "pretty good" is less than gushing - unless he is downplaying it in a classic misdirection.

Casual's/Hoyas "Coverage" of Jordan Phillips Visit???It’s very sad that the Arkansas Media Insider (who also covers Football) is all over Jordan Phillips but the “so called Hoyas Media insider published an “article” about a prospect visiting this weekend (Fleming) and didn’t even mention Jordan Phillips. Had all weekend to make an amendment or write a separate piece to acknowledge Jordan Phillips being on campus and his importance to the program and never did. At least Ron on HoyaReport (a paysite) published a free article. If don’t think that can affect a 17 year old prospect trying to make the most import decision of their lives then you don't know recruiting…? These young athletes have an idea of what they are looking for in a school and basketball program. They tell you in articles/interviews all the time. "A close relationship with coaches, strong academics, etc., but as importantly, they want to be/feel wanted! Not only by the coaches and possible future teammates, but from the fan-base and like it or not this is an outsiders first impression of that fan-base. This is where the majority of the base gets their info and to not even acknowledge his visit while somewhat acknowledging the other high major recruit on campus is *&^%** Pitiful! No I'm not blaming Casualhoya if Phillips goes to Arkansas or elsewhere instead of Georgetown but to deny that the coverage or lack there of doesn't have an affect, just look at Phiilips tweet above and the video article I posted about how he was feeling the love from the fans as soon as he got near campus. Maybe if an article was posted about Phillips visit to the Hilltop, more of the current student body might have been more aware of him being on campus (who he is, what his abilities are and how he can help the program) and showed him some love when they saw him on campus, shouted out his name, made him feel welcomed and most importantly wanted...

Our media coverage is pretty mediocre. There is little to get excited about. We're always hoping and coping. However I saw someone somehow connected with the team out and about in the city this Saturday, and he said the team will be much better than anticipated this year. That was good to hear and what I'm thinking.

With that being said, what about Akuwovo Ogeneyole did anybody hear or see him as well?

What's happened to the Hoya Hoop club? We used to see banners & fatheads on player visits, what's happened?

It wasn't a coach, I've seen him many times at Kenner...He's connected. I'm optimisic about the team.
