You want guys who fit that profile, who want to work to make it NBA. Stewart was a beast who is now getting minutes in NBA. Kockburn stayed and put in the work.
Don’t know Oscar’s deal. Seems similar to a Macklin big ticket transfer situation.
You just want Ewing to recruit athletes but also skill. Haven’t watched Kentucky much but some years it seems like they just have too many run and jumpers without getting the Bledsoe type or a booker type on skill end.

I could see him landing at West Virginia as a replacement for Oscar, just a hunch

OF that big class, I think we got extremely lucky with who we got. Stewart left UW after one year, Tshiebwe transferred mid-year this year, Kockburn has been a monster for Illinois and this kid was hurt & now transfers. Q is a better fit for what we are doing than at least three of the four others we were hopeful for. It just goes to show how strange recruiting is. Even if he had remained healthy why would fans here be interested in Igiehon? We have enough centers who can only score in the paint. We are in need of a stretch big.

He has some experience and a power game. Hopefully that adds up to rebounding and great play around the basket as long as he stays out if the way of Qudus and Timothy. Hopeful he could also stretch the floor.

I remember when Grand Canyon built an actual campus, people said it was going to be a major player in sports and its happening. Grand Canyon probably will be the next Gonzaga. Their arena and facilities are crazy.
