If you don't know something ask questions. Don't assume. This makes you foolish when you assume and you're wrong.

I agree that I'm sure recruits read everything, but it's still on the coaching staff to get the recruiting job done. And whatever is said or written by Hoyas fans - at times in frustration - is nothing as compared to the negative recruiting that other coaches do. I also agree that Wallace, Wright, and Starks were not traditional point guards. But any way you define it you need smart guards who can manage the game, make good decisions, distribute, and handle the ball under pressure, particularly at the end of games. We certainly have not had that over the last few years. Bottom line to me is if this kid Bracey could've helped - and I don't doubt he could have - then it was another recruiting miss. The biggest difference between Hoyatalk and CasualHoya is social media. I think there is probably a low likelihood that a recruit would come to Hoyatalk to read a fan message board, and even reading the comments section of CasualHoya is probably low on a recruit's priority list. However, a full write up on CasualHoya is essentially a media article with a presence on Twitter and Facebook where a wide audience of people are going to see it and share it. And the fact that Bracey retweeted the CasualHoya article shows that he read it. Did it affect his recruitment? I don't know. In general the article is fairly even handed, but it couldn't have helped for him to read "However, in my opinion, Bracey's recruitment is another indictment of Georgetown's consistent failure to bring in high-level guard recruits."

CAN YOU SEE HOW CRITICAL BEING A FLOOR GENERAL IS. WHAT KIND OF BASKETBALL ARE YOU WATCHING??? Dude you gotta chill out. Your incessant, typically-condescending posts about PGs are entering Eagle54 territory. We have no PGs. JTIII has never valued PGs. We get it.

I am looking at Facts...They can talking about GTown being in their top 5 possible landing spots. but in the end they dont come here...That is fact not the #alternativefacts you like to talk about

We do have point guards, but skilled and tough enough ones. We don't have true floor generals. If only people would read and then ask questions instead of assume! www.coachesclipboard.net/PointGuard.html Pls read.
