Remember, this man has an ethics department named after him. Giving an unqualified family member a job to indirectly compensate an athlete you aren't allowed to pay by the rules is a "business decision." Was basically telling you how he locks down top recruits. Kentucky had been doing the exact same thing in terms of getting jobs in the private sector for parents of recruits at a much higher then normal salary from "friends of the program". Hard for NCAA to police these kinds of subversions of their rules...

How likely is a scenario where Williamson asks Adidas for jobs, cash and housing to attend Kansas but then ends up going to Duke for nothing? I mean maybe he had a change of heart and decided to go clean... but damn that seems unlikely. This is pretty damning for Duke and could be a real test for the NCAA. Not out of the realm of possibility though. Quinerly is doing that at Nova. I'm not saying Coack K is a choir boy... but it wouldn't surprise me if a specific kid sees his eligibility slipping away, and wants to make sure everybody knows he's squeaky clean from there on out.

Is this well-known or pure speculation? By the way, isn't the on-going Corey Maggette NCAA investigation about one of his parents getting a job at Duke? What a joke.

Zion with a great start to his college career...but wonder what his NBA game is? I see him as a more versatile Montrezel Harrell / Kennth Faried. Not sure his ceiling given the way the game has gone is as high as it once might be, as devastating as he is on college level.

He is so much more athletic and skilled than those guys. He is pretty good ball handler and passer. He will be terrific in nba transition game. His biggest area of improvement is his jump shot which already looks better.
Also he isn’t fat but would recommend he loses 25 lbs to get down to 260

Didn’t Georgetown hire Mikael Hopkin’s mother to work here peri-signing?

Similar to Donic - great well rounded unique player, but ceiling/contribution might not be the superstar you can land with a top 5 pick. Like Donic though, there seems to be a very good/predictable floor, and unlike other picks (see Wiggans) you dont have to doubt the motor.

My vague recollection is that Hop's Mother was already employed at Georgetown when he came on board, but I could be mistaken...

Just wonder if he'll get back problems down the line like LJ. He's carrying a lot of weight and muscle while playing explosive and above the stratosphere.
