Gotta love this kid. Just a hunch, but I believe he is going to have a big and positive influence on our Hoyas next season. Once again, welcome Mr. Pryor!

#2. Rodney Pryor – Georgetown Hoyas Former School: Robert Morris Colonials 2015-16 Stats: 18.0 ppg, 8.0 rpg, 1.7 apg, 1.4 spg Next season, the Hoyas will be without star guard D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera, which is a huge loss for the team on both ends of the floor. Add in the streaky play of both L.J. Peak and Tre’ Copeland thus far in their careers, the need for a bonafide offensive threat was apparent in the off-season. Enter Robert Morris transfer Rodney Pryor, and Georgetown has found their man. Pryor gives the team a big punch on the offensive end, and he has the size to be an impact player in terms of rebounds on both ends of the floor. In the Big East, Rodney Pryor will be a big-time player. collegecourtreport.com/2016/05/11/top-five-transfers-who-are-immediately-eligible-in-2016-17-so-far/

New School: Georgetown Pryor, who is eligible immediately, was once one of the most highly-coveted transfers as he was in talks with Kansas at one point. The guard ultimately decided to take his 18 points and eight rebounds per game to Washington D.C. to play for the Georgetown Hoyas. The Hoyas will need every bit of help they can get after finishing above only DePaul and St. John’s in the Big East. ‘Nova, Xavier, and Creighton all look like heavyweights, so Pryor might need to score right around 18 again. The Hoyas will need to count on some of their underclassmen to improve if they want to return to the NCAA tournament. Pryor needs help as he can’t replace D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera by himself bustingbrackets.com/2016/05/17/ncaa-basketball-11-transfers-off-to-greener-pastures/4/

In a few ways Peak was even more consistent in BE play than DSR. But I don't expert the media to realize that.

Yeah there's going to be a ton of weakly informed articles written over the next couple months and based on our performance last year they are not going to be saying we have a bunch of studs and should win the BE...Those comments will be deserved and fine by me. Hopefully this team enters the season with a giant chip on their shoulder and unyielding desire to prove the doubters are wrong...

He was certainly streaky during th first half of the season. Although he did pick it up in the second half and down the stretch.

If they can't get that far in their research, not much point in debating its other qualities.

If they can't get that far in their research, not much point in debating its other qualities. Give them a break, they are just going after an economy of words by combining the names of a couple of underachieving underclassmen. Their next article talks about the positive impact from the comeback from injury of Akoy White next year.
