Obviously, it sucks we are not in this, but like many, I will still be watching. So, would be good to have a running thread. nj, I expect you to do a schedule of all 65 or so games. But, until then I will use this as a placeholder. Initial thoughts: I hope Syracuse does not make it. That is all.

I take the first Thursday and Friday off for the tournament every year even when we aren't playing. This tournament is so wide open that even a PAC 12 team not named UCLA a could make the FF for the first time in forever. Sucks with such an open field that we couldn't sneak in. Oh well. With Fresno St. winning last night, Cuse is even less likely to make it. As much fun as the UConn game was, I wish that shot didn't fall. It would have been some consolation if both of my least favorite teams missed out too. I hope every BE teams makes a solid run (excepting Nova. I can't stand them either). In any event, it should be a fun couple of weeks.

Nova may not make it out of the first weekend again if they face Iowa.

Yeah, that's a very good #7 seed, but on the other hand, they've been in a nose dive lately.
That's a very tough bracket.

With the exception of Cal, the 1-7 seeds were all ranked in the top 10 at some point during the year. Throw in a streaking UConn and a relatively healthy Wichita St. and Kansas got a tough draw. Only thing that would have made it worse was Michigan St. as the 2 seed.

Wow this is tough to watch. Not only because of Barkley but this just for some reason drives home the disappointing season.

Screw job for Nova. So top Big East team is #8 overall seed. Plus Nova didn't get Philly regional. Not a lot of respect for the Big East.

Matchup-wise, I think they aren't in a bad position at all in the draw. I think their toughest matchup would be with AZ. I hate when teams get home regionals, so I'm ok with that, too. They didn't take care of business vs the Hall, so that's the way the cookie crumbles.

The West bracket sucks. Wildly unbalanced between the two brackets announced so far.

The west region seems pretty weak. I don't see anyway Nova gets past Iowa, Miami, Kansas, Cal, Maryland to make the FF. We'll see, I guess.

Cuse made it as a ten seed!?! That's bull. There is literally no consequence this season for cheating. They essentially got 4 free wins as their five losses were simply disregarded. The NCAA is pathetic.

Yeah, strongest, I just meant I felt that matchup-wise, not bad for Nova -- I think Final Four is unlikely, too, but I wouldn't be surprised with last 8.
