I hope that tweet was ran pass compliance before it was posted. Not saying anything here is a violation. Tbh I'm not sure if it is an issue or not. The rules can be somewhat ambiguous when it comes to social media in certain situations. Non of the coaches or athletic department members could post a direct message like that...

Not sure but, IIRC, faculty/staff are allowed to contact kids during their senior year.

Looks like Cole is visiting UNC on an unofficial this weekend. All the rumblings pointing towards UNC as well. He's just waiting to see how far UNC gets in the tourney because I suppose it may affect their gaurds' decision on whether to enter the draft. Both of their guards are locks for the first round unless something drastic happens.

Their style of play is based on the point guard leading the offense and pushing tempo, which is exactly what a talent like Anthony is likely looking for. Given how well he has played this year, I would think it is pretty likely White goes to the NBA. So Anthony going to UNC would probably be a pretty good bet right now.

I hope we can land Davis or Baldwin, but they are 2020 guys. Anthony is a dream at this point.

Our chances of makimg the ‘19 tournament are better than Cole wearing a Hoya uniform. Not great.
So you’re saying there’s a chance?!?!

Coby White has done more than enough this season to impress NBA scouts, so in reality he should declare and go to the NBA next season because he will likely be a top 15 pick. UNC has always seemed like the probable choice for Anthony and I would be surprised if that is not where he ends up. It would give him the opportunity to showcase his skills on a big stage with a nationally competitive team and set him up to go the NBA after his one year. I would be thrilled if he became a Hoya, but it was always a long shot, and it seems the odds are getting longer.

I watch almost every UNC game hoping White would struggle, have to come back and Anthony would then wind up on the Hilltop. Instead, White has been brilliant. He's a lottery pick and Anthony will almost definitely end up at Chapel Hill. Oh well. Akinjo's development would definitely have stalled if Anthony had come to GU. Give my 2 of 3 of Galen, Myron and Shannon and let's call it good. Class is an unmitigated disaster at present.

From the sound of it, it would be a giant surprise if Cole Anthony didn't end up at UNC. Really, it could not have gone better Saturday as Coby White practically cemented his status as a one-and-done college standout, which opens up the perfect pathway for Anthony to take the reins of Roy Williams’ offense next season. Georgetown and Oregon are the Tar Heels' toughest competitors, and while a commitment might still be a few weeks away, Saturday’s efforts may have pushed things over the top. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/wednesday-s-leftovers-dishing-on-unc-oklahoma-state-vols-more

Good sign, cross your fingers UNC burns out soon.

Arguably he should be the only 2019 player the Hoyas are still recruiting.
