"Cole Anthony, the 6-3 Class of 2019 point guard from Archbishop Molloy, had a huge game on Sunday, going for 19 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists as Molloy knocked off Iona Prep, 53-43, in the CHSAA Class A Intersectional playoffs at Fordham.
Molloy will meet Xaverian in the semifinals on Wednesday at St. John's after Xaverian knocked off Cardinal Hayes.
Numerous coaches were on hand to watch Anthony, including Minnesota's Richard Pitino and Kimani Young, St. John's Barry "Slice" Rohrssen, Georgetown's Tavaris Hardy, Miami's Chris Caputo, VCU's Rasheen Davis, Rutgers' Van Macon and UCF's Oliver Antigua.
"I see it but that's not my focus right now, I'm focused on this game and I'm trying to win it," Anthony said.
Anthony said he grew up rooting for Duke and UCLA."

Bossi breakdown: The son of former NBA point guard Greg Anthony, he's as much of a total package as a point guard finishing his freshman year can be. He is cerebral, he runs his team, he is athletic and he can take over a game as a scorer. Playing for one of the best teams, the PSA Cardinals, in the 17U division of the Nike EYBL, there have been stretches where Anthony has been the best player on the floor. St. John's and Georgetown have already offered scholarships. basketballrecruiting.n.rivals.com/news/freshman-faces-early-2019-standouts

He's solid. I get being a top tier prospect. Didn't blow me away though.

Yes and when the old staff was here he was listing us. He is a different player than his dad, super explosive game changing Derrick Rose college type.

Five-star point guard Cole Anthony has been in the midst of a terrific spring with the PSA Cardinals. On Wednesday evening, Anthony continued his impressive play, scoring 19 points, tossing out nine assists and grabbing six rebounds. Anthony was aggressively looking for his shot and had no issue getting but he first line of defense and into the paint. An exceptional athlete, Anthony is especially impressive in transition, where he's a very good finisher and uses his explosiveness around the basket. Recruiting: UCLA, Wake Forest, Oregon, Maryland, Georgetown, Kentucky, Louisville, Seton Hall, Villanova, St. John's (NY) www.scout.com/college/basketball/recruiting/story/1785076-nbpa-top-100-wednesday-top-performers?s=143

www.scout.com/college/basketball/recruiting/story/1787424-nike-elite-100-top-guard-performersOne of the more decorated prospects to come to the camp was Cole Anthony. This was Anthony's second time attending the Elite 100 Camp, and he was much improved from a year ago. At his best Anthony is an attacking combo guard who dominates the ball and finishes well in the lane with his supreme combination of quickness and athleticism. Also Anthony did a good job of getting others involved. While he is definitely a score first player, he sees the court fairly well and can make slick passes in traffic. Also Anthony played with a nice motor and stayed in attack mode through the majority of the event. Recruiting: Anthony has a whole host of interest including schools such as UNLV, St. John's, Syracuse, Duke, Georgetown, Kentucky, Villanova, UCLA and others.
