LJ has the potential to be a lottery pick next year if he keeps he keeps grinding. Good decision on his part.

Great news for the Hoyas AND LJ. Work hard and you will get that $$$ soon...plus hopefully that piece of paper that hangs on the wall sooner rather than later...happy, happy news!

Best news we've had in a long time. Has potential to be a first team All-Big East performer next season. Very impressive how much he improved as the season went on, particularly on defense (where he stopped using his hands in the latter 1/3 of the season) and shooting.

Great news for the Hoyas! I am glad LJ could hold off on playing pro ball for another year. The trajectory of his play was going through the roof this season. If he keeps up the recent level of play for a full season he will get the accolades and attention he deserves from the media and scouts alike.

LJ has the potential to be a lottery pick next year if he keeps he keeps grinding. Good decision on his part. Not sure about a lottery pick, but I think if he can continue to improve he has a realistic opportunity to play in the NBA. Good size, great athlete and he plays with energy. Great sign he is coming back. Hopefully Copeland makes the same decision. LJ had a much better year than Copeland so you would think Copeland realizes he could use some more seasoning

Did I miss some news prior to this news (which is great of course) - suggesting that LJ (and Isaac?) were considering going pro after this year? I am just surprised by the reactions, which suggest there was real worry of that. Maybe I missed something (and I am surely no NBA scout), but I was not really worried at all that any player on our roster this year was going to be playing (or attempting to play) in the NBA next year.

Excellent! Very happy about this. With the across the board serving of humble pie this season, I really hope the staff puts these kids in a position to be successful next year based on the skills they have.

More in the vein of speculation, I think. Peak and Copeland may both declare in order to get NBA evaluated since under the new rules they can return to college.

Peak and Copeland will be playing for NBA uniforms next year. I expect both will be better. Just so I understand you, you're saying that they'll improve over the summer because they want to be drafted by NBA teams. When I first read this it sounded like you were positing that they would both be drafted by NBA teams in this June's draft and I wanted to know where you are getting your crazy pills. We just got done with a 15-18 season. No one on this team is sniffing the draft this year.

IF THE HOYAS WOULD'VE KEEP PEAKSHOW ON THE BALL WE'D BE IN A DIFFERENT SITUATION...A GOOD SITUATION, TRUST ME! Trouble was that Peak could not stay on the floor at the beginning of the season. I know I know we need a point guard. I think I remember you posting that once somewhere!
