What's so fanatical about wanting to save babies from being killed?

www.nytimes.com/2015/12/07/us/politics/hillary-clinton-islamic-state-saban-forum.htmlEliminating encryption would mean that literally every single form of communication outside of person-to-person discussions (and sometimes even then) would be available for surveillance and cataloging by the government. It is the absolute end of privacy and renders our Constitutional protections meaningless. Regardless of party/ideology, it is an unacceptable position to take.

Why should my email be any more secure than top secret State Department stuff? Hillary has been ahead of her time on this one by leaving it all unprotected. Bravo Lady Rodham!!!

Encryption has been around for 4,000 years and is not going away for one simple reason: it's available to everyone. If you think the government is worried about locked messages now, imagine what it would be if all the newer technologies to encrypt data were developed outside US oversight.

Trump showing his encyclopedic understanding of the US Constitution today. Still not convinced his candidacy isn't some kind of stunt with the Onion or something like that.

Of course, this country once had a President who rounded up and interned people based upon their ethnicity, and then had another who banned all immigration from a particular country and cancelled all visas from that country.
Guess which party both came from...

Does the Philly Daily News not know the difference between "furor" and "fuehrer"? Or was that an intentional thing so that they could say "No, we weren't calling him Hitler, we were just saying there's a furor surrounding him"?

Guess which party both came from... One is now known as one of the more shameful events in this country's history. The other is based on a country, not a religion.

By the way, I hope Paul Ryan is now understanding the need for compromise in order to get things thorough congress. He has certainly been more productive than his predecessor. Perhaps, this experience will help blunt his sharp ideological edges (paraphrasing Chris Van Hollen).

Shameful past vs shameful present? For the Democrat Party, it is both. They are after all, the party which still houses Ringside Reid, Lady Rodham, Terry McAwful, etc

I am certain you are beaming with pride with all the goings on at the GOP. Excelsior! Actually, I loathe the whole lot of them on both sides of the aisle. I am just profoundly tired of listening to Democrats act as if they are not equally partisan and vile. Let's all be grown ups here. The best and the brightest want no part of American politics and that is a damned shame.

Strongly guessing it's the latter, but with the obvious double entendre implied.
