Garza by a mile. His production has been solid accross the board this summer. Personally have concerns about him on the defensive side but at least I know what I'm getting. I feel like Garza is another Govan. Someone who you know will be able to score. It is whether you get any shot blocking or consistent rebounding.

Between Garza and Mading----what is the preference? It has to be Garza. The kid can shoot the ball. If Mading is a big time rim protector I'll change my vote...

Visiting Georgetown next week! Has the visit happened yet? If so, anything on how it went/where we stand?

He works on the glass but I wouldn't expect any rim protection. Also think Jessie is more athletic but yeah both pretty skilled but not the best athlete...

I'll take Mading all day. Much higher ceiling. His development is key.

TCU, Memphis and Providence have offered 6-10 2017 forward Daniel Mading of St. Anthony's. Georgetown, Cal & Vandy are all interested in the former Arizona State commit. Mading will learn in mid-August if he gets a waiver to play next season for Naismith Hall of Fame coach Bob Hurley. He turns 19 before the New Jersey deadline.

Was on campus on an unofficial. Spent his time with staff and took a visit to Verizon.

Blueandgray are we still in or are we out for this guy? Hope they are still involved with this player. From the highlights he looks to be a long, athletic, explosive type of player that the program needs. As with most kids all you see are his offensive highlights, but if the kid could be a rim protector/shot blocker/rebounder then he would fill a real need for the program

Paraphrasing but he says he a stretch 4 to a 2 guard.. He looks like a fit at Gtown to me though...

When you see his length and athleticism he makes you think a little of the Owens kid that plays for St John's now, but not wanting to play in the paint might be an issue.

That description reminds me of a guy that just transferred away.
Tons of potential but isn't willing to work inside.
