One to keep an eye on. Will be playing alongside Mosely at St. Anthony in NJ and HOYAS are very interested and getting involved.

Daniel Mading is a highly skilled kid. His game, as it's still developing reminds me of Issac Copeland's. It's been reported that he visited Georgetown the same day as Mosely.

After watching the first mixtape, I can tell that Mading is going to be a special player. Athletic, good Shot, great ball-handling skills for a big man.

Reminds me of a KD without handle or a quick/reliable jumper, maybe a little Paul Pierce in his game. He'd do well here, still has so much room to grow.

Daniel Mading, 2017 - St. Anthony's(NJ) dm The power forward from Australia by way of the Sudan started out slow but showed signs of a unique skill set. Mading recently transferred from The Rock School in Gainesville, Florida so this was him first time playing with his new team. As St. Anthony’s continued to play, Mading began to get more comfortable in his role. Mading has a nice looking jump shot which extends waybehind the three point line and at 6’10 has the ability to put the ball on floor blowing by slower defenders off the dribble. His best performance was when he matched upagainst D.J. Harvey’s Dematha squad dropping a team high 17 points and pulling away with the victory in what was arguably the best game of the tournament. courtcred.com/player-news/east-coast/8-reasons-why-you-should-have-been-at-the-weekend/4/

Who knew that The Rock had his own school? Figures that it would be in Florida. They must specialize in smelling cooking.

Perhaps the staff is looking ahead to Mading in 2017 class and saw no need to go for Hunter as a 2016. This guy has three point range and greta size, and the spacing between the Copeland/White class and Mading makes sense.

Mading would be a great get - but I certainly hope the staff would not bypass Hunter just for the possibility of Mading. He will likely have some big names interested.

You don't bypass a kid that you possibly can get this year for a kid you can might have a chance with next year. Also Hunter and Mading play different positions! Hunter is a SG/Wing and Mading is a combo forward at the High Major college level.

kill 2 birds with 1 stone. I hope if we do get a guard commit in the next 2 weeks. Jagan realizes that he should still sign here. November is so far away!!

usatodayhss.com/2015/st-anthonys-n-j-adds-brothers-as-transfers-one-is-6-10-the-other-6-5Legendary Hall of Fame coach Bob Hurley Sr. is adding two brothers to his roster at St. Anthony’s (Jersey City, N.J.) — one is 6-10 and the other is 6-5. Daniel Mading, the older and taller of the brothers, is a rising junior power forward who played at The Rock School in Gainesville, Fla., last year. His younger brother, Mariel, will be a freshman and is also transferring. The brothers are from the Sudan and grew up in Australia. They are cousins with Thon and Matur Maker, who play at Orangeville Prep in Ontario. Daniel Mading said he was being pursued by Arizona State — coached by Bobby Hurley — along with schools such as LSU, Florida, UConn and Kansas.
