Love this kid! Even after a big play, he was right back on defense. Right?!!!!!! Who does that these days? Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year B&G! While I've got you on the hook, any discussion on how we are getting killed on the drive, draw, and then dish move? Our coaches need to know this is our Achilles' heel right now. We are young, inexperienced and falling for this very successful move thus far. We just need to let them drive, keep our men covering their men and force the high percentage shots. Most of the time the driving player really has no place to go. They are either looking to draw away a defender, make the extra pass or get foul. We need to not fall for the bluff. Not to mention our guys are tall enough to block or alter many of these shots by staying with their men and not overplaying on defense. Forcing them to alter their shots without fouling is a very under-rated form of defense.

hoopgroup.com/tournaments/high-school-showcase-2/top-ranked-st-anthonys-to-face-cba-in-top-10-showdown/images St. Anthony’s will put their undefeated record on the line this Saturday against Christian Brothers Academy in a heavyweight battle. The Friars come into the matchup ranked 1st in the state according to NJHoops.com and 2nd according to MaxPreps. Legendary coach Bob Hurley will look to take his senior loaded squad to Long Branch, and leave with another victory. St. Anthony’s has 5 college bound players including Asante Gist, (Eastern Kentucky) Kaleb Bishop, (FDU) Shyquan Gibbs, (NJIT) and Daniel Mading (Arizona State). However, let’s not forget about Georgetown Commit Jagan Mosely. Mosely comes in as possibly the most talented player in this event and for a good reason. He is a two year starter for the Friars and has made a name for himself thanks to his incredible combination of athleticism and talent. On a side note, Mosely told us his favorite player is Russell Westbrook. Take a look below and you will see Mosely doing his best Westbrook impersonation. vine.co/v/OtUh1ZDPTvO

www.msgvarsity.com/highlights-st-anthony-65-christian-brothers-29-1-9-16-1.1764318ATCH HIGHLIGHTS above Kaleb Bishop totaled 13 points and eight rebounds as St. Anthony, No. 1 in the MSG Varsity Tri-State Top 20, used its superior quickness to roll past No. 18 Christian Brothers. After CBA took a 4-3 lead on a basket by John Salcedo 2:19 in, the Friars (7-0) ended the quarter with an 18-3 surge that resulted in a 21-7 advantage at the conclusion of the period. Bishop and Idris Joyner scored five points apiece in the quarter. St. Anthony used a series of fast break baskets off of steals and outlets to raise the lead to 39-17 at the half. The Friars wound up getting baskets from eight players along the way, with Joyner the top scorer with eight points. Jagan Mosely then scored six when St. Anthony kept up its fast pace with a 17-7 third quarter that made it a 56-24 game heading into the final period. Pat Andree ended with 10 points and seven rebounds for CBA (7-2). - See more at: www.msgvarsity.com/new-jersey/nj-roundup-hoop-group-boardwalk-showcase-1.1764448#sthash.KEiULeMU.dpuf

Can't say it enough how much I like the way he passes the ball in transition..
This is an area this team sorely lacks..
