Deserves his own thread now that he has an offer... At the risk of repeating myself, I'm a fan of this kids game.. I think he could do well at G'town.. highschoolsports.nj.com/news/article/5910475642080519494/boys-basketball-st-anthonys-jagan-mosely-staying-grounded-throughout-recruitment-process/“He’s humble, he’s hard-working, he has discipline and a maturity beyond his years,” Harrield said. “He works every day to get better and improve himself - not like he’s the best player on the team, but the worst player on the team. He works that hard. If we had 10 of him in the program, we’d never lose. He does it not only on the court, but in the classroom as well.”
ESPN Analyst Updated 05/15/2015 Strengths:Mosely is an athletic guard with a freakishly long 6-foot-9 wingspan. He has a high motor, impacts the game on both ends and typically plays within himself. He's an excellent on-ball defender who could evolve into a true stopper at the next level. He can make plays defensively as well and has also evolved into a high level driving threat. Weaknesses:Mosley needs to continue to develop his skill set. He doesn't yet handle the ball well enough to play the point guard position on a consistent basis and while he is gradually starting to incorporate more jumpers into his offensive arsenal, that still is not a strength of his game. Bottom Line:He's physically talented, loaded with intangibles and already able to impact the game on both ends of the floor while working to improve his skill set. Mosely is #19 in white.. This clip was filmed at the recent Oladipo camp..

For comparison's sake, Jason Clark was listed at 6'2, and his wingspan was measured at a little over 6'8

I like what I see, or course i like what i see from every kids highlight film.
Do we think this is a sign of our perceived chances w/Jones, Brown, and Norvell and we are exploring our next "tier" of options?

All the kids you named above can play with each other pretty easily imo.. Why can't the staff take both Jones & Norvell or Jones & Mosely or Norvell & Mosely? They're all interchangeable parts On the other hand I can't blame the staff for not being comfortable with any kid, with that in mind it's definitely better to have options.. Mosely isn't as highly rated as Jones, Brown or Norvell but he's a player who's learned from a great great HS coach.. I'll be surprised if he doesn't have a nice college career.. www.msgvarsity.com/postgame-st-anthony-s-bob-hurley-jagan-mosely-1-31-15-1.1678289

Most all BE schools have shown interest in him with the exception of Nova. Tough kid, great leader, good student, high level athlete, loves to play defense.

Mosely led St. Anthony with a game-high 21 points and four assists. Hayes and teammate Shyquan Gibbs added 13 points, apiece. Jordan Walker paced The Patrick School with 16 points as Marcus McCleary added 15 points.

He's visiting Rhode Island this weekend. HOYAS interest level is starting to peak.....think he is a great fit and would be a contributor immediately.

This kids upside is ridiculous especially if he was to transition to the point by his Junior Year like DSR. He could take over the position after Tre graduates. Mosely and D. Hunter (yeah I know I won't stop about Hunter) have the most potential and upside in the 16 class that were on. Mosely is oozing with potential. I actually think it is a good thing that he is announcing with out going through a drawn out recruiting process. We haven't had the best luck in the circus type recruiting battles. When it comes to Georgetown you either love it right away or its not for you. So Mosley announcing a week after he visited bodes well for us.

I read an article by NJ Hoops on Rivals stating that he planned to narrow his list after the weekend so this is interesting.. The article also stated he planned on visiting Ga. Tech & Harvard.. I've been promoting this kid for awhile so I hope he chooses well which of course means picking G'town..

He definitely visited, he and his family were walking through McDonough throughout the kenner games one day - I believe it was on August 1, although I could be off on the exact date.
