www.hardwoodinsiders.com/news_article/show/534958?referrer_id=1595484Zach Norville | 6'5 Shooting Guard | Simeon Career Academy 2016 | Mac Irvin Fire | Norville reminds me a lot of Michael Redd when he was at Ohio State. The lefty can shoot the long ball of the bounce but gets in the lane with little effort as well. He scored in a number of ways in the games we watched him play. He is ranked number 1 in his state for good reason and is set to have a dominant senior campaign.

Michael Redd? Not too sure about that, but a quality player for sure. Will have a solid College career...

Wonder why he didn't get in an unofficial while he was in the area? Seems like a missed opportunity..

What are our chances now? No inside info but I think we probably become the favorite. I hope we land him...big combo guard we need that would compliment the talent we already have. Plus you don't turn down Top 100 players

Think we would be right there with Illinois but Illi has a ton of guards so he might be looking for PT rather than staying close to home.. Hardy can be tough to beat when he goes all in for a kid so we'll see..

Purdue, Illinois and Wake Forest are being very aggressive these days on the recruiting trail and the Deacons seem to pursuing alot of top 100 kids from what I am reading.

U might be 100% correct HB, just hard for me personally to make that call over the home town team considering how much work they put in. We're definitely in it to win it for sure if they push hard

Normally i would say Illinois since the one city school they do really well with is Simeon. But as Yaboy pointed out, SG is their lowest recruiting priority. They also lost a 2016 scholarship today since Tracey Abrahms blew out his achilles tendon in practice and is done for the year.

They've prioritized other kids including a guy named Sneed that has an official visit scheduled. Additionally, John Groce is a dead man walking. Has missed two NCAAs in a row and is likely to miss again this year. Really not a good situation at Illinois right now.
