My friend in Crete sent me this link for the games: www.youtube.com/FIBAI tasked him with reporting on LJ, as he and his son will be going to the games - at least the games with Greece in them. Nice... Iran v USA - Group A - Live Stream - 2015 FIBA U19 World Championship by FIBA Starts: June 27, 2015 Sat 7:45 AM Sweet. Thanks.

Iran can't get the ball past half court right now. Reminds me of Big John's defenses. Don't look too good on offense, though.

41-24 halftime. US on 20-2 run to end half. Peak 1/3, 1/4, but 3 steals and +18

I only watched the last couple minutes of the last second half, but I got the usual Peak show. He had good spacing on a fast break, but didn't convert after getting fouled and missed both foul shots. He then had a good steal by ripping the ball away on a drive, and immediately throws the ball away for a turnover...

Peak is #11 and I think he was out by the 2:00 mark.

The box score (1/4 FT and 3 steals) seems to show we're talking about different plays during the game.

I watched the half. The USA coach kept rotating players in and out. ksf is right in his description of Peak so far. I'm fine with not finishing thru contact, but he needs to sharpen up those FTs for November. He has one of the best in DSR to learn from. We'll need a good FT team if we're going to go deep into the NCAA Tournament.

Swanigan looks big.
There is a USA big who shoots FTs underhand. Rick Barry would be proud.

Peak goes down with what looked like an ankle injury. Walked off gingerly...

Peak did not return, but the rout was on so there was no need to play him. Hopefully, he's O.K.

Box: www.fiba.com/ls/#8043&11700-A-2BTW, Peak played the 1 and 2, but mostly it was a full-court press on defense with a lot of shifting in the half court, and a horse race, chaos and FTs on offense.

Villanova commit Jalen Brunson was also outstanding at point guard for the Americans, scoring 15 points on 7-for-12 shooting and handing out nine assists with only one turnover. Georgetown sophomore L.J. Peak added 13 points while five-star Class of 2016 power forward Harry Giles had 12 points. Class of 2016 wing Josh Jackson, regarded by Rivals as the No. 1 player in the national class, added 11 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three steals in the win. Offer Giles and Jackson. LJ can help. Bump! Really!!!
