From a skill set stand point Mosely pairs up better with Curtis Jones in our backcourt then Mosely and Bruce Brown would. Mosely's quickness, slashing, athleticism and court vision match well with Jones perimeter skills. Truth be told IU would probably prefer to pair Gelon with Bruce Brown instead of Curtis Jones. So it may workout in our best interest now. IU could still take both Brown and Jones along with Gelon but I know they are really looking for a combo forward and a skilled Big. Plus they will definitely still have Johnson there in 16-17 and Blackmon if he doesn't leave. IMO the best backcourt partner to bring in with Mosely is (you guessed it) DeAndre Hunter. You get length, athleticism, skill and perimeter shooting to add to the quickness, explosiveness, handle, court vision and budding perimeter skills that Mosely has. I agree that Jones would be the perfect complement to Mosely's skill set, and probably a better match than Brown. However, if we got Brown instead of Jones I won't be complaining either! Brown and Mosely have similar skillsets, and both probably need to work on the consistency of their jumper. That being said, we have guys who project to being good shooters at other positions than guard (Trey, Agua, Derrickson, Govan, White, Johnson), that I wouldn't be that concerned with two guard recruits who need to work on their shooting. Brown and Mosely would be a dynamic, athletic backcourt that could defend.

Have to think this takes Florida off the board for Jones..
I know Hester is a point but Florida has Brandone Francis(RS Soph) & Kevaughn Allen(Frosh) at sg.. Add them to Kasey Hill & Chris Choizza, it makes a stacked back-court..

I agree that kid is probably the perfect compliment to Mosely. What a dynamic backcourt they would be.

I saw on twitter one of the experts( forget which one) was saying that he likely will follow his brother to the Bayou instead of following his footsteps in college.

He must have found out that the offers from his top schools weren't really offers..

Maybe a 6 guard lineup coming to an arena near you? I can't see why Indiana fans put up with this. His style of basketball while fun to watch will never win.

Getting crowed in the backcourt for Jones or Brown? Newark is slotted for replacement of Ferrell at the point.

Allegedly Indiana is out of scholarships but that hasn't stopped Crean before.

Where did Ok. State come from? They have been on the list the whole time. My bad.. I went back & read a few articles where he stated that he would definitely visit Ok. State. Ok. State doesn't have an sg in their freshman, sophomore or junior class, if he's looking for immediate time they'll have it unfortunately..

Jon Rothstein retweeted WTHR.com @wthrcom 1h1 hour ago #BREAKING: #IUBB players Thomas Bryant and Emmitt Holt cited for illegal alcohol possession: now.wthr.com/1fBWlnB I wasn't sure where to put this so I put it here since Jones will be visiting IU next week. I could have posted under Bruce Brown as well as visiting them On September 3. Tom Crean must hate the off season because every year something negative happens involving his players. Last year at this time, one of the players hit another one with a car. It's always something under Crean's watch!
