Is Wash teammates with Javian? If so he could be a decent recruiter for us being that he really liked GTown and simply chose Bama because of location. If I'm remembering correctly......

If this occurs we wont be much better than this year. I get that the returning players on the wings & in the back-court aren't great but it's not impossible to think they can improve some the rest of this year & in the off-season.. There's no way you can get me to believe Mosely, Blair, Pickett & Walker have maxed out yet.. Mac can improve over Mulmore, LeBlanc & Carter will at minimum help to lengthen the bench.. I can easily see a better team next season.. I just meant if Mac is getting all of Mulmore's minutes and all other minutes stay the same we are in trouble. Either Jagan or Blair will get more minutes because they improved or we will be in bad shape. Mac wont be a big enough if any improvement over Mulmore next year to make that big of a difference. This team either needs a good (i.e. not Dickerson level desperation apparently never seen him play blind grab) grad SR or a currently committed top rated 2018 PG to fall out to make a noticeable improvement next year.

I meant Javian recruiting Wash to GTown since I haven't seen where Bama was involved.....or at least giving good reviews of the coaches, facilities, and city....

In 25.8 mpg in league play Mulmore is averaging 3.7ppg, 3 assists & 3 rebounds, you really don't think Mac has a chance to exceed those #'s next season?

It's literally almost impossible for a player to provide less than what Mulmore and Dickerson bring. I'd be a little surprised if one of Blair or Mosely does not step up to play more point next year. Also curious to see who shoots 1000 shots a day and makes the jump from three. That player immediately gets more time.

The Evan Daniels article on Moses Brown was much better than the Adam Zagoria write-up. My hunch is that the hoyas might still be in play. It sounds like kent is out...and who knows with Duke. Ucla and MD are outfront. But I'd think he woulda committed to one of them by now. I'll have much more coming on Moses Brown, but the five-star seven-footer said that his decision is coming soon. Florida State, Maryland and UCLA have gotten visits while Kentucky (John Calipari watched) and Duke have been hanging around but haven't offered. Playing without his five-star point guard Cole Anthony, Brown was missed in positions to score by teammates several times but I liked that he kept plugging away and never got a bad attitude during Archbishop Molloy's loss to DeMatha. He also managed to find ways to be productive and had what I thought was a nice showing going for 21 points, six rebounds and a pair of blocks. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/starting-five-bossi-s-sunday-hoophall-classic-takeaways

Xavier Pinson has now been offered by Memphis. Looks like we started a little trend.

I am excited for Mac to come and play for the Hoyas and I think he will be a good player for them, but it is impossible for anyone to know how he will do, especially in his first year, until he has played against entire teams of Div 1 players. This is the case with all kids from small schools, and really with almost all high school kids with the rare exception of the 5 star kids who play for the national basketball factories in high school. I am hopefully he can come in and contribute as a freshman but we won't know until he starts playing in Kenner games and we won't really know for sure until he starts playing next season.

Former Arizona commit Jahvon Quinerly had a relatively quiet game but the Hudson Catholic senior took a lot of pride in seeing his teammates Louis King and Luther Muhammad go off. As he's done since backing off of Arizona after allegations that he was induced to commit emerged, Quinerly declined to discuss his recruitment. We can only speculate, but Rutgers and Seton Hall definitely appear to be involved and Villanova is hanging in there. Quinerly's coach mentioned that Oklahoma and Georgetown have also made recent contact.
Nova is recruiting Quinerly but their priority is former Louisville commit Courtney Ramey.

We should be all-in here. A top player at our main position of need. Maybe, Reggie Cameron can put in a good word. Please get this done!

I know the kid can play but didn't we just pass on a kid because of team fit (supposedly)? Wasn't the Quinerly kid grouped with those accepting illegal benefits? I know that nothing was found but an assistant was fired and he was the only recruit that reopened his commitment if I remember correctly. So we are willing to dance with the devil if its a PG?
