I like the clips of Pinson and he seems to have potential. But, word of caution, he’s not starting as a senior on his HS team (albeit a good one). He’s very slim and not a very accomplished shooter. Seems like a kid who should do a POstgrad year. And that's a good thing IMO, he appears to be the perfect fit to play behind Mac. Given a year or two of weights and conditioning and we could have two of the toughest PG's in the BE.

Kentucky fans don’t think he’s going there.

Wouldn't be surprised if Richards and killeya Jones come back for another yr at Kentucky. They are petty raw and need more time to develop.

Pat watched Moses Brown and Cole Anthony vs Dematha. Second time in the last week he's watched Dematha.
Zags article on Brown doesn't mention Hoyas.

The Evan Daniels article on Moses Brown was much better than the Adam Zagoria write-up. My hunch is that the hoyas might still be in play. It sounds like kent is out...and who knows with Duke. Ucla and MD are outfront. But I'd think he woulda committed to one of them by now.

Seems like a kid who should do a POstgrad year. If we could stash him like we did Walker that would be great. He's getting better very quickly as he matures but he would get abused in the BE right now. Our problem is if he comes here he would have to play immediately and his confidence could get wrecked like what seems to have happened to Pickett so far. I will say this though between him and Mac we would have plenty of highlight dunks.

With the current state of the program, and the need for ball handlers, if Pinson does commit I would think he will see significant minutes. They are losing their two PG's to graduation and they do not have anyone on the current roster who has shown they can run the team and protect the ball. In a perfect world they could break a player like this in slowly and let him develop at a reasonable pace, but unless they also bring in an experienced grad transfer to handle the PG duties, Pinson would need to play. Hopefully they can structure his PT where they can limit his responsibilities and not force him to do too much. I think they have asked a lot of Pickett this year and while I still think he can be a good player for them, he does seem to be having a real problem with confidence now. Most of these highly recruited kids have not had confidence issues with their games for years, as they have been one of the best players on their teams and have had great success on the court. Learning to overcome struggles with his game will decide how well Pickett develops. Isaac Copeland struggled with his confidence at times and never seemed to be able to develop into what was expected of him and I hope that does not occur with Pickett. From everything you hear, Pickett is a really hard worker, so I hope it starts to pay dividends for him and the team soon.

If Mosely & Blair keep their minutes from this year and Mac takes Mulmore's minutes, there'll only be Dickerson's 12 minutes per game leftover for Pinson in the back-court any.. He may be able to handle that type of workload in his 1st season..

I believe Wideman just took the ball from Jessie 2 or 3 times in a row and dunk on the other end. This year Jessie at least went toe to toe with him and would have outplayed him decisively if guard play was similar.......

I get that the returning players on the wings & in the back-court aren't great but it's not impossible to think they can improve some the rest of this year & in the off-season.. There's no way you can get me to believe Mosely, Blair, Pickett & Walker have maxed out yet.. Mac can improve over Mulmore, LeBlanc & Carter will at minimum help to lengthen the bench.. I can easily see a better team next season..
